The game itself has not changed for nearly a month. So it has to ba a corruption in the installation, or something external to the game.

That output log is quite uninformative unfortunately. Everything goes along fine and then it just crashes, with no apparent trigger or problem mentioned to cause it.

You mention having tried reinstalls; to be sure here’s the full list of folders involved:

What actual anti-virus app do you have? The most troublesome ones have been ESET, Kaspersky, Comodo and Avast!

If there are so many issues with running the game under any given AV or some applications then it’s clearly it’s a software issue with Cities. Your development team is either 1) doesn’t know what they’re doing, 2) not coordinating with AV / other software vendors to resolve issues, and/or including 3) Lazy to resolve the issue.

Also to rebut your suggestions, I’m well aware which directories the game installs itself.

Now I try completely re-install Steam and install game on another disk. On the first attempt game run. If I exit from game and run again error message «GetThreadContext Fail» have again and game not start.

Sadly there’s no clue in that log file as to the problem. Everything looks fine, the game begins to run OK, and then there’s a crash — no trigger or error at all.

Do you have any of those apps or hardware I listed in post #2?

No, only I have ESET. I can try to run game with turn off antivir and firewall but game crash anyway…

OK, please try this:

— Remove the game from Steam (delete local content)
— Manually delete all these files and folders, if still there:

(first move the /saves/ folder elsewhere to keep your save games)

— uninstall ESET completely (might need a reboot, not sure)

— Install the game again
— Now run the game up and start a new city.
— If all goes OK, install ESET again

First of all…. «-uninstall ESET completely» … the most IRRESPONSIBLE suggestion ever! Grow up. ESET is not the issue!

Now, I haven’t touched Cities since the error occurred last. I lost interest in troubleshooting the issue. Today, I noticed a 2GB update, whenever it was pushed out is beyond me. However, after the update finished installing Cities is now running fine.
