> Running CorelDraw not found
Знакомая проблема… Натыкался на неё…
Предполагаю, что это из-за DDE (это для тех, кто понимает 
), ну а для нас, простых смертных — обходил я этот глюк следующим образом: запускал сначала Корел, а только потом в нём открывал нужный файл. Т.к. если просто дабл-кликнуть в файл, чтобы он открылся Корелом, при отправке на резку вылетает это сообщение…
Не удобно, конечно, но напрягало не сильно!

Вопрос:
Добрый день.
После года работы на CraftROBO 330-20 появилась ошибка «Тайм аут соединения с Cutting Master 2 for CraftROBO. Попытаться восстановить соединения». Программу переустанавливал несколько раз, всё программы внес в исключения в брандмауэр. В чём проблема, заранее спасибо.

I am using Corel Draw x 4 and the Cutting Master 2 Software for the Graphtec 5000-60. When I click on «Cut/Plot» from the Application Launcher, I was getting a message that says «Cannot run Corel Macro» and now it says «No Active Document». When either message pops up it says «Cutting Master» at the top. I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled with the same result… one of these two errors. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks!

Cutting Master 2 v1.81 has been released recently.

Man, I still stuck with this error «Connection to cutting master 2 timeout», every time I select cut/plot from the cutting master2 plug-in in Illy.
I tried all the fixes mentioned in the previous email, I configured both windows build-in and the 3rd party firewall (Norton) to ALLOW access for both Illustrator and Cutting Master 2, that didn’t help. I even uninstalled Norton, that didn’t help still getting the error «Connection to cutting master 2 timeout».
I emailed Graphtec again, here is there latest reply, which is dumb:
What I am about to suggest works 100% the time as long as you have a full version of Illustrator, other wise you will be spending more time and still going no where.
When windows registry is messed from numerous installs and uninstalls, generally there are lots orphan registry entries which will prevent things install/working properly, this is hard to show you any actual proof in registry itself, but the obvious symptoms would be applications not install/working correctly like what’s in your case. The best thing to do at this point is to backup all your data, format your hard drive and reinstall windows, then all your software including Illustrator and Cutting Master 2.
I usually don’t recommend to go this route, but there are only so much we can do and at this point, there is not a whole lot more besides this, you may agree with me later on that this takes less time over all to correct your problem than it is other wise.

Does anyone on Signs 101 have a good fix or has come across this issue before, any suggestions?
I don’t think I’m going to rebuild my computer just because a Illy plug-in is not working!

I have been using Corel Draw X5 with the CM2 plug in to cut vinyl ever since I got started cutting vinyl (getting close to a year). Im running it on Vista and have had no problems until yesterday. Everytime I try to open up the CM2 plug in, it comes up with a NO ACTIVE DOCUMENT error. I have tried uninstalling CM2 and reinstalling but I have had no success.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any known solutions?

I just did a search of your problem, on the internet, and several people have had it with several different ideas, to fix it. for Corel and Illustrator. I used the keywords : Cutting Master 2 No Active Document error. Put that in the Google search bar. It will take you to other forums, with answers. Sorry best I could come up with.

I have this same problem, but it was because CorelDraw wasn’t shut properly.
Try this:
Close both Corel and Cutting Master, then go to the task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Del) and look in the Processes Tab and see if Corel isn’t still running, if so, End Process of Corel.
Then re-open Corel and Cutting Master and try again.
This works for me.

Thanks guys for your responses. Nothing worked for me. I did try going in under another user name and I had access to corel and CM2 there. I did have to reinstall the drivers for the cutter under that user name but after doing that, I am back up and running again. Perhaps if I uninstalled and reinstalled corel on the user that I was having problems on, that might have worked…but…I CANT FIND MY DISK….aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! lol
