Mini Remote Control в любом из 3-х режимов не хочет брать другую WinXP SP2 станцию в домене, хотя файер при установке SP2 сказал не активизировать. До SP2 этой проблемы не было. Теперь «Winsock connect error: System Error 10060″(типа удаленный комп или не ответил или ответил неправильно)…
Никто не мог бы очень кратенько пояснить использование 3-х режимов соединения Mini Remote Control ?

Файер, скотина, всё-таки после установки активизировался. Мы тока открыли на нем родной 6129 для DameWare и всё побежало во всех режимах соединения. (Хотел на вас 
сэкономить немного времени для работы с бумагами, картриджами, телефонами :biggrin: )
Можно ли отключить иконку в трее до подключения (вроде как в настройках подключения)? А то что-то не нашел… После того, как подключился — можно!
StAl, удаленно изменить конфик через системную шару и опять же удаленно перезапустить сервис сервера, можно через DameWare, можно через управление компьютером.
Что менять в конфиге честно не помню, но там не сложно разобраться.

разве еще есть какие-то варианты? при включении этого режима, твоя клавиатура и мышь не допускаются к управлению удаленной машиной…

подскажите по такому вопросу, при конекте к удалённой машине пишет что не может стартануть какой-то «mirror driver» и что соединение будет произведено без его участия. Из за этого работать на удалённой машине не возможно — страшные тормоза, картинка плывёт. Машины перегружал не один раз уже и свою и удалённую, проблема не проходит. КАк этот драйвер там включить?
nopresent, mirror driver — специфическая часть сервера DNTU. Отвечает за перехват «команд рисования», адресованных видеодрайверу и «зеркалит» их на клиентскую часть.
При невозможности запуска mirror driver захват изображения осуществляется на выходе видеодрайвера, и для передачи клиенту производится обратное декодирование. В результате увеличивается нагрузка на процессор серверной части и канал, засчёт чего и возникают «тормоза».
Возможных причин того, что mirror driver не запускается — великое множество: несовместимые драйверы видеокарты, конфликт с антивирусным ПО, неправильная/повреждённая установка сервера (например, mirror driver просто не установлен), несовместимые версии серверной и клиентской частей, несовместимость серверной части с ОС, на которой она установлена….
Телепатические способности можно упражнять до бесконечности, особенно не имея представления ни об используемых ОС, ни о версии DNTU…

несовместимые версии серверной и клиентской частей — исключено, програма ставиться на сервер только и файлы сама копирует те, которые ей нужны.
На обоих машинах установленно Win XP SP2, антивир nod32 v3, DameWare 6.7.0.7.
Есть ещё одна машина, с ней общение происходит нормально там ось win 2000 server
Ye самое простое взять одинаковые по железу машины и попробовать.
И будет все пончтно
программа работала и в один прекрасный день написала:

XPlite’ ом вычистил с клиентской системы компоненты и теперь Mini Remote Control не соединяется с целевой машиной. Пишет:
Autentification failed:
System error 5
System message: access denied
Please check the event log on the remote machine for possible cause
в ихнем хэлпе накорябано что-то типа:
System Error 5 (Access Denied)
System Error: 5 Access Denied points to some type of authentication issue. Please try accessing the remote machine via the O/S by typing \MachineNameAdmin$ or \IP-AddressAdmin$.
System Error: 5 Access Denied simply means Invalid Credentials (UserID & Password) or your current logon credentials do not have sufficient rights (i.e. Administrator) to perform the selected function. The NT Utilities & Mini Remote Control programs rely heavily on the Operating System’s built-in security and Administrator rights are required to install, remove, start, or stop any Service in Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 security.

The DameWare Mini Remote Control program is basically just executing standard Microsoft Windows API calls which asks the Operating System to perform the selected task. In terms of authentication, it is similar to typing \MachineNameShareName and the Operating System determines if you have the necessary credentials/authentication to complete the task.
However, if the remote machine was running Windows XP, this behavior could be related to «Simple File Sharing». Windows XP Home & Windows XP Professional installed on a machines as part of a WorkGroup has «Simple File Sharing» enabled by default which offers no NT Challenge/Response Authentication. «Simple File Sharing» also does not allow you to install, remove, start, or stop the Mini Remote Client Agent Service. «Simple File Sharing» cannot be turned off in Windows XP Home, therefore you must manually install the Mini Remote Client Agent Service on machines running Windows XP Home. Once the Mini Remote Client Agent Service has been installed, then you should be able to use the «Encrypted Windows Logon authentication method to connect to this machine.

У меня такая же байда была с еррором 5.
Проблема оказалась в том, что пароль на машине сменился, а в dameware забыл сменить!!!
Теперь все работает!!!!

- Type the following information into the next window that appears: Value Name: TcpMaxDataRetransmissions Value Type: REG_DWORD — Number Valid Range: 0 — 0xFFFFFFFF Default Value: 5 Decimal New Value: 10 Decimal.

Снова Здравствуйте многоуважаемые администраторы и участники столь полезного форума!
У меня 2 проблемы, вероятнее всего вы знаете как мне помочь:
(((1))) Я пользуюсь программой DameWare, используя тип подключения Win Logon я с легкостью захожу на все сетевые ПК с Win XP Pro, а вот на ПК с Win 7 HP зайти не могу, долго пытается подключиться, потом вылетает окошечко с заглавием MRC — Enter Network Passwprd, в котором сообщается Incorrect password or unknown username for: \<имя ПК к которому подключаюсь> и 2 строчки, для ввода логина и пароля. Если ввести в них логин и пароль, то он попытается снова, а после снова выдаст мне это окошко, так же присутствует кнопочка Details которая отображает след инфу:

For Example, Mini Remote Client Agent not installed or mismatch in port usage (default is TCP 6129).

The remote computers appear to be running Windows NT/2000/XP/2003. Will try to interrogate the service control manager to determine if the Mini Remote Control client agent (service) is installed and/or running.

(((2))) Не могу зайти (\<имя ПК с Win 7 Pro>) по сети (рабочая группа) на ПК с Win 7 Pro используя при этом логин и пароль. Т.е. если я на этом сетевом ПК с Win 7 Pro в «Центр управления сетями и общим доступомДополнительные параметры общего доступа» ОТКЛючаю «общий доступ с парольной защитой», то я свободно захожу на этот ПК с Win 7 Pro (\<имя ПК с Win 7 Pro>), т.е. он у меня при подключении вообще не спрашивает логин и пароль, а просто свободно заходит и видит расшаренные папки. Если же я ВКЛючаю «общий доступ с парольной защитой», то при попытке зайти на ПК, он просит ввести логин и пароль, я ввожу и логин и пароль, но он меня все равно не пускает и снова выдает мне это же окошко ввести логин и пароль, при этом логин имеет вид «<имя ПК с Win 7 Pro><имя логина ПК с Win 7 Pro>, если снова ввести логин и пароль, ситуация повториться. Я хочу сделать так, чтобы после ввода имени и пароля я попадал на ПК.
Стоит учесть, что входить на данный ПК с Win 7 Pro я пробовал с разных компьютеров на которых стоят и Win XP и Win 7 везде одна и та же проблема.
Я надеюсь, что достаточно подробно описал вам свои проблемы и указал всю нужную информацию, чтобы вы смогли с легкостью помочь мне.

Im trying to connect to my home PC from my work PC, i keep getting error 10060, its very annoying, i understand that my work has a proxy server (since im one of the domain admins i know they have one setup, but i cannot alter anything on it). Is there a way to get round this get dameware to work?
I have opened the ports on my home pc, but im stuck this end because i don’t seem to be able to connect.
Can anyone help?

Can you ping your home computer from work?
If you’ve got the dameware service installed on your home machine, try :
TELNET x.x.x.x 6129
x.x.x.x obviously being the IP of your home computer.
Dameware remote control run’s over TCP 6129 — but if the service is not already installed on you rhome machine you need to push the service out to your home machine you will need 6129 & 135~140 (& possibly more depending on how you are authenticating to that machine etc).
If your computer at work is not routed to the internet and the proxy server is the only method of internet access then you have no hope of making this work.
(if the server was a socks proxy you could f**k around a bit and maybe get it working, but very unlikely).
Have you considered using remote desktop connection?

First of all ping it (as mentioned above)
If that’s possible you’ll have it narrowed down to dameware.
If it isn’t pingable it’s a networkproblem.

It is not pingable from cmd, or telnet because of the proxy.
In that case I suggest getting winvnc (also mentioned above)
that allows you to connect through a webbrowser which your proxy will not block.
Else you’d have to bugger around with your networksettings and that’ll be a helluvalot more work.
I might be incorrect. I think the proxy has to know your PC. so if you connect to the proxy the proxy has to connect to your PC.
What I ment with this is that you have to use the proxy IP. The proxy distributes you to your PC based on which PC is connected from the outside (IP address). I doubt they have set up this possibility since this would enable all kinds of people to connect to your PC and therefor the to network of your company.
Conclusion: I doubt this can be done due to security reasons of your company.

I wished you would found a solution Then I would install it at home myself. would save me sometimes 4 hours driving in my car. But at work they also have a proxy installed and due to security reasons it is not possible at least for me to connect to my pc. As they don’t want others from outside conenect to the network.
Thats what i don’t get, im not connecting my pc to the network, im just looking at my home connection though the internet. Bit of a pain because i cannot use anything from here… think ill find a new job. lol.
A good reason to quit a job and apply for a new one since dameware is not doing what you want it to do. :)))
So try a vnc program which will allow exactly that….

yeh ill try and install the client on my home pc tonight to see if the VNC works from here, obviously it won’t install the client from here because that would be too simple! ;o)
Still might switch jobs though! Dameware is annoying the hell out of me!
We tried VNC software also but we didn’t got it to work. You have to keep fighting against the reason why a proxy server was installed. Due to security reasons for instance.

Кто-то столкивался с проблемой когда после перезагрузки у клиента слетают настройки видео: становится разрешение экрана 800 на 600 и цвет 4 бита?
Если да то как этого избежать ?

Проблема решена.
Это возникает на видеокартах Asus если установлен Enchanced Asus Video Driver если его удалить
то сбоев настроек видео не происходит

У меня похожая проблема: есть машина с Win2k3, захожу туда через dameware 5x или 6x версий и сразу загрузка процессора на той машине 40%-60%!!! А если воспользоваться версей 4.9.2.5 то всё нормольно!!! Не пойму в чём дело.
Интересно то, что такая ситуация только с одной машиной, к другим подключаюсь без проблем. И ещё более интересно то, что такие тормоза на той машине при подключении через dameware только у меня!!! С других машин конектился разными версиями и всё нормально работает, загрузка процессора в пределах нормы.
Подскажите, люди добрые, как справиться! Может кто сталкивался с аналогичной проблемой.

Ещё в ветке 6.х заметил, что при подключении к станции время отклика при пинге увеличивается в 20 и более раз, т.е. было к примеру 10-20 м/с до установки клиенсткой части, при установке и подключении становится 400+, при удалении клиента после отключения всё снова становится нормально.
Речь идёт о Dameware MRC

Господа, те же грабли — сначала работал только RemoteControl, и не работали Utilities,
Затем после снятия галки о простом доступе к файлам на клиентской машине — стало все наоборот. Ошибка 10060 — Winsock Error! При этом снятие/установка галки по простому доступу к файлам на клиенте не помогает…
XP SP2, обе машины.
Бред! Состояние, близкое к истерике.
Кто решил эту проблему — я явно не первый…
Сам спросил, сам и отвечу.
В данном частном случае во всем виноват VPN-клиент. При его отключении все ОК.
Недаром шаманы из этой конторы предлагают статический роутинг прописывать при наличии VPN…

Кто-нибудь пользуется утилитой коммандной строки Dameware Remote Command Client, входящей в состав сабжа? При коннекте утилитой на локализованные русские винды русские шрифты отображаются крякозаблами и прочитать сообщения не представляется возможным. Есть ли возможность исправить данную ситуацию ли хотя бы расшифровать эти сообщения в сторонней программе?

Пользуюсь.
Кракозяблы действительно есть, но для меня это не сильно важно, т.к. те команды которыми я в основном пользуюсь дают понятный мне результат.
Пробовал решать проблему, с кодировками пытался эксперементировать, не получилось.
Думаю надо с разработчиками связываться, багрепорт небольшой организовать.

Пытаюсь просмотреть через сабж список принтеров на машине в домене. По умолчанию отображаются только локально установленные принтеры. Если я выбираю любую другую опцию (например «View Server Printer»), то Dameware в поле «Status» выдает «локально установленные » . Что ему не хватает?

скачал кейген и версию 6.4.0.1 отсюда (http://forum.ru-board.com/topic.cgi?forum=35&topic=7102&start=740), написано что кейген должен подходить, а у меня не регистрируется, в чем глюк? кто нито ставил эту версию, зарегистрировалось, или кейген не подходит?

дело в том что я вообще ничего не набираю, а вставляю через буфер из кейгена в поле регистрации 2 строчки:

Number: тот который выдал кейген, причем генерировал несколько раз

не в курсе с проксями поправили они в этой версии работу? У меня в старой — 5.5.0.1, не хотела через прокси (Socks 5) работать, хотя прокся 100% рабочая Это вообще возможно, чтобы работать с удаленным рабочим столом или утилитами через прокси-сервер (просто на той машине файервол стоит с правилами доступа лишь определенному перечню IP, а расширять их перечень или вообще убирать фильтрацию по IP не хочется по понятным причинам). Я так понимаю, что она работает через нетбиос, тогда как его через прокси пустить?

у меня такая раздражающая трабла
При попытке удаленного запуска любого файла через processesrun application remote, он виснет, т.е попытка запуска происходит, открывается окошко, но в нем нет ничего кроме заголовка, т.е. запуск зависает где то на уровне инициализации графинтерфейса, (в диспетчере задач приложение определятся как нормально работающее), версия DNTU 6.5.0.0, на сервере WinXP Eng на клиентах WinXP Eng|Rus
Этот баг оч напрягает так как единственный способ запустить любой батник или др, не влезая по MRC сейчас это вписывать его в автозагрузку или запускать URL типа «explorer C:superpuper.bat» через браузер и говорить чтобы на том конце выполнили

Отличнейшая программа, большие возможности… Но вот какая проблема:
через инет цепляюсь к компику по РДП, а потом уже оттуда на другой комп по сабжу.
Сколько не пытался манипулировать настройками, нормально бысродействия, напр., как в Радмине, добится не удалось. Удаленный экран прорисовывается по несколько секунд.
Кому нибудь может удалось оптимизировать настройки, чтобы тормоза были в пределах нормы?
