• Looks like you either haven’t got enough privilages on the server or that your antimalware tools are getting in the way.

  AppIDSvc mentioned in the error message is a part of AppLocker. Maybe it’s locked down via GPO so that nobody can tamper with ist (which is normally a very sensible thing to do ).

  Check the Exchange setup logs, what detailed error information do you get?

  Make sure your Exchange server meet the
  system requirements and check the following requirements when you extend the AD schema:

  • Your account needs to be a member of the Schema Admins and Enterprise Admins security groups. If you have multiple Active Directory forests, make sure you’re logged into the right one.
  • The computer needs to be a member of the same Active Directory domain and site as the schema master.
  • If you use the /DomainController:<DomainControllerFQDN> switch, you need to specify the domain controller that’s the schema master.

• here is some background I am migrating from exchange 2013 running on server 2008 dc to exchange 2016 on server 2016 dc. on the same domain. I tried to install version cu2 and maybe server 2016 doesn’t support that version. I now can’t uninstall because
  it fails. there must be a way to uninstall a partial installation can anyone help?

• I was finally able to run the uninstall. my question is I know Microsoft doesn’t recommend running exchange on a domain controller but is it capable of running. exchange 2013 has run on a server 2008 dc for a few years now. this is a small company that
  wants to run exchange but doesn’t have room for all these servers

При установке Exchange Server 2016 CU 10 на «чистую» систему возникает ошибка

решение простое

1. перейти в каталог который указан C:Program FilesMicrosoftExchange ServerV15BinCmdletExtensionAgents
2. Копируем ScriptingAgentConfig.xml.sample в ScriptingAgentConfig.xml
3. Запускаем установку еще раз
