If you see this unplanned exit (crash) from your Autodesk software like AutoCAD, this issue and is not really related to the AutoCAD, but rather the external dependency on Microsoft’s .Net and the Operating System. The solution has been published in the Autodesk Support Solutions.

Solution
Fatal errors usually indicate a program corruption or a corruption with something in the operating system.
There are several ways to address the problem.
Reset the program:
- Click the Windows Start button.
- Click All Programs.
- Open the Autodesk folder.
- Open the AutoCAD Folder.
- Click Reset Settings to Default.
- Test the program.
Rebuild the user profile in Windows. Fix a corrupted user profile
Uninstall and reinstall .NET.
Uninstall .NET using the Control Panel and install the same version from Microsoft.
Clear the digital signatures and then uninstall and reinstall the application.

Turn off Hardware Acceleration:
- Right-click the icon on your desktop.
- Click Properties.
- Access the Shortcut tab.
- In the Target field, after *.exe», type a space and enter /NOHARDWARE
Example:
Before
«C:Program FilesAutodeskAutoCAD 2014acad.exe» /product ACAD /language «en-US
After
«C:Program FilesAutodeskAutoCAD 2014acad.exe» /NOHARDWARE /product ACAD /language «en-US
- Click OK and retest.
- If this works, remove the /NOHARDWARE switch and update your graphics driver.
In most cases an updated driver works.
In some cases, if an updated driver does not work, leave the /NOHARDWARE switch in place.
Update the drivers for the video card. Find Recommended Hardware.
While you’re editing a file, all of a sudden AutoCad closes and displays the message: Reading 0x0000 Exception at f50cd74eh on startup of Plant 3d 2013.
The highlighted part (in bold) might be different on your machine, but the problema (and the solution) is the same.
To solve this problem is simple, just follow the steps bellow:
- Close Autocad (if it’s open);
- Open Windows Explorer;
- Browse to: c:Users<your username>AppDataLocalAutodeskAutoCAD Plant 3d 2013 – EnglishR19.0enuGraphicsCache;
- Make a backup of the files in that folder. (Never needed it, but just in case);
- Delete the files of that folder;
You can now re-open AutoCad and check if the problem was solved.
Are the folder names in you computer different?
If there’s no folder “AutoCAD Plant 3D 2013”, don’t worry. You probably have some other folder with a similar name, like “AutoCad 2013/2014/2015/2016” or something like that. You want the folder with the name corresponding to the Autocad version that’s presenting the problem.
Same goes to the folder “R19.0”. That folder refers to the version you have installed. So, if you have a different version (or edition) this might be different, but that’s not a problem.
To my understanding, this folder number is a reference to the .DWG file encoding.
I’ve tried this procedure and it worked on AutoCADs version 2013 and 2016.

Уважаемые специалисты, прошу помочь советом в следующей проблеме:
перестал запускаться Автокад 2009, при запуске открывается чертеж, и появляется окно с подписью, что данная копия установлена не нормально и требуется переустановить прогу. Кликаю — ОК и таких окон появляется еще 5 раз подряд, после чего появляется окно с надписью: ФАТАЛЬНАЯ ОШИБКА: unhandled Access violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 40403c90h.
Комп пишет, — необработанное нарушение прав доступа чтения 0x0000 Исключение в 40403c90h.
Я переустанавливал Автокад 2 раза (он раньше работал у меня на этом компе (на всякий случай — ноут «НР») 2 года и установливался на других машинах — отлично), но сейчас, после, мля, автоматического обновления 15- 16августа Винды Х7, когда все стало, и требовалось откатывать все обновления перестал работать КАД и СОREL x5.
Прошу помощи.

yes exactly it worked and also i’ve just tired what you said at office with 2008 it worked too. I don’t have any problems with it now. But it is likely that i might have plotting problem not with that drawing but some others. I have found a tempopary solution and searching for a permanent one when i have time. Again thanks for your help.

Autocad 2006 often fails to install when directly clicking Setup.exe, which says “AutoCAD2006-simplified Chinese installation has been terminated, please check” C :DOCUME~1** “LOCALS~1Temp Autocad 2006 setup.log”. At this point, it can be solved by the following way: directly run AutoCAD2006BinacadFeuiacad.msi to install, but when open CAD2006 after installation, it will encounter the following problems:
This is a fatal error. It has unhandled access to cheesy reading.
On the Internet for a long time do not know how to solve, one of the articles gave me inspiration. So I came to the following conclusion:
1. Click Setup.exe and it won’t install because Autocad2006 requires.net framework 1.1, while Windows 7 usually installs a higher version of.NET. When installing setup.exe, these plug-ins will be installed first. Check the “C : me ~1*** LOCALS~1TempAutoCAD 2006 setup.log”.
No plug-in is installed when running the ACad.mSI installation. Even if CAD2006 is installed, net 1.1 that supports CAD2006 is not installed and thus can cause a fatal error unhandled Access Cheesecourse at 6532b0h.
Based on the above inference, the problem was successfully solved in the following two ways:
A:
1. Run AutoCAD2006BinacadFeui Support dotnetFX dotnetFx. exe manually install.net 1.1
2. Run setup.exe again to complete the installation.
Method 2:
1. Run AutoCAD2006BinacadFeui Support dotnetFX dotnetFx. exe manually install.net 1.1
2. Run AutoCAD2006BinacadFeuiacad.msi again to complete the installation.
