I have been unable to wrap my hands around this one. I created a new 2012 R2 WDS server. Only WDS is running on this virtual server. I have read just about every forum pertaining to this and tried just about every solution offered.
The server was setup, configured and tested, I successfully pulled down an image last week, I believe Thursday. I come in this week and it is not working. When you PXE into the server no images were available. The WDS service was not running.
I attempted to start the service and it did not start in a timely fashion as per Microsoft.
I just uninitialized the server, disjoined from the domain, re-added to domain, and attempted initialization, see below log:

I now attempt to go to «Properties» for the server and I am being informed that the DS roles service for WDS has not been configured. Really?
I am at a stand still with new rollouts.
