I’m installing an Enterprise edition setup and have published to the SQL server without an issue but when trying to to the 1st front end server setup I’m receiving the following error under step 1: Install Local Configuration Store. I’m a Domain admin on
all the boxes and disabled virus softwareSqlExpressRtcLocal…installing…failure code -2067919934

Please make sure all the previous steps have been finished successfully.
When install the Local Configuration Store, you should be logged on to the server minimally as a local administrator and a domain user who has membership in
at least the RTCUniversalReadOnlyAdmin group. And you can also check the deployment log for details.

Hi! there is a suggestion that you need to make sure you don’t have pending file operations. You need to start regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SYSTEM>CurrentControlSet>Control>Session Manager, find and delete the key “PendingFileRenameOperations”.
After that try to install SharePoint as a single instanse. Hope that will help!-

This was a problem with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession ManagerPendingFileRenameOperations. I had read about deleting the value in this key. Looking at this key in my registry I saw that there were 4 or 5 values. I deleted
them all then rebooted. I tried repairing the SharePoint installation and received the same error. I checked the registry entry again and there was a value in it again. This time I deleted the value, then immediately repaired the SharePoint installation and
it worked. Argh, what a pain in the behind!!-

SQL Server
The SQL Server instance ELSAWINDB could not be installed. ErrorCode: -2067919934
The setup program will be aborted.
Enter)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Session Manager
