Код ошибки 2124 4508 nintendo switch

Nintendo eShop

Nintendo?

When I try to link my Nintendo account, it says:
Error 2124-4508: The use of online services on this console is currently restricted by Nintendo.

I know I have been banned from Nintendo servers, I understand I will not be able to link my account or play online, but really I don’t care about any of that, my question is one and just one only: with this ban, can I still update my Switch?
Will my console be able to update it’s OFW like normal if I want to? please this is a serious question.

I have SX OS v2.9 with the dongle.

PD: sorry for my bad english.

Usually you won’t have access to be able to update using the official method via nintendo servers. You should be able to update unofficially however using choidujourNX or I believe SX Installer also does it once it gets updated.

ISX installer does not update the OFW.

How can I update using choidujourNX? I’m new with this and never have used that program, I have it on my switch tho.

heres my error code 2124 4517….temperarily unavailable… i’m not restricted…… gonna research this further

i got banned from the internet in its entirety.
my switch is not modded or jail broken and i definitely have not violated any of the terms the error code claims i have.
i cannot even get on the internet period. i never use online services and 97% of the time my switch is on airplane mode.
wifi works on other devices and my other consoles have not been banned from online services. this is important because when someone is banned outright for a supposed console modding violation [which i deny doing in any way] they have their nintendo ACCOUNT banned not their system, meaning that every device using that account also gets banned.
right now my switch is the only console banned and it is banned from the internet itself. like literally i cannot update, install, acess, login, or comunicate anything that requires wifi. like i cant even use any internet at all, and it doesnt just affect online game services.
i am currently waiting for a response from nintendo to see what may be going on, because they clearly havent banned my account, yet my internet services HAVE been banned.

No… That’s not how that works. If the account is banned, you simply can’t use it on any system, you won’t be able to add it. They aren’t gonna ban a legit system if you try to add an account previously used on a hacked one.
In fact, they don’t ban accounts, unless you do something really bad like abuse Nintendo CDN to pirate games. Some of the earliest Switch bans were full bans (console + CDN + account), they stopped doing that and now just ban the console.

People who have called Nintendo to ask about using their old account from a banned console on a new one, have been told that’s fine to do. So really, there is no risk to using an account from a banned console on a different one. As long as the console and games are legit they have no reason to care.

True, at first they blocked all access, then they only blocked game updates.

I like how people are assuming there is only one type of ban.

I’ve been banned today I think too, have the error code 2124-4508, just a bit worried as I have my girlfriends account on my banned switch and I also have my account on her switch which hasn’t been banned. Think I might attempt to remove my account on her switch as hers is a genuine one that hasn’t been hacked. Would it be safe to remove my account from hers or just leave it and never use it?

UPDATE —
Turns out it is a console ban, no surprise as I have used sx os Had to log in to a browser and relink my NNID.

    Nintendo eShop not available error

Nintendo Switch consoles are better and cheaper than most of the gaming consoles available in the market right now. Xbox and PlayStation are one of the major consoles which are reigning in the market. So, if you want to enjoy a gaming console with a relatively lower price, Nintendo is the option for you. Nintendo Switch was first published by Nintendo corporation late in march 2019. It offers a wide range of games from Pokemon to Roblox and it also contains almost all the mainstream games. The following segment will help you deal with the error code 2124-4508.

The build quality of Nintendo is smooth and robust. The controller and the buttons have a rough texture. The body provides a bumpy texture which helps to grip the console firmly. Nintendo provides us the facility of eShop where we can buy games and play with them. Moreover, we can access third-party games from third-party sources and enjoy them. Nintendo Switch is basically famous for its Pokemon game franchise, and that’s the reason for it being so famous.

    Error Code 2124-4508

The error mainly deals with an online service issue. You cannot access online services such as eShop and others. On doing so, the console will throw an error.

Error code 2124-4508 shown by Nintendo

This error is shown to players before imposing the ban.

The error message says “the online service is restricted by Nintendo”. This error occurs if there is a breach of the agreement between the user and Nintendo and a violation of the code of conduct has been done. These terms are specified in the End User License Agreement (EULA) that you accepted on buying the game console.

Well, there is specifically no fix available for this. You will get a permanent ban on your device and you cannot use your console online. You have to use your console offline from now onwards. This ban stays for at least 24 hours and can extend up to a week or so. You have to be patient for the ban to be lifted.

This ban is not imposed for unnecessary reasons. It is advised that you do not tamper with the system software in any way. You may be unlucky and hence get the ban permanently.

Nintendo Switch is one of the best gaming consoles and the company has released many famous games like Pokemon, Animals Crossing, etc. As we know every device comes with some errors and Nintendo Switch users are facing Error Code 2124-4508.

Basically, This error warns that your Nintendo Switch Console has been banned by Nintendo and you can’t play the game online. When players open their Nintendo Switch, they see an error appearing on their screen “The use of online services on this console is currently restricted by Nintendo.”

This error occurs on your Nintendo Switch screen because you have violated the game and developers’ policy. Maybe you have violated the Nintendo Code of Conduct, and as a result, your account has been banned.

Main reasons for Nintendo Switch Console Ban:

    • Playing Pirated Games: Nintendo doesn’t allow their users to download and play Pirated and illegal games, using the certificate verification method. If you will try to do so, your Nintendo Switch will be banned permanently.
    • Making Unauthorised transactions: Don’t try to make transactions using fraud and stolen Credit Cards, if you will do so, your account will be banned permanently.
    • Violating Nintendo Code of Conduct: If a user violates the Nintendo user’s agreement and policy, their account can be banned temporarily or permanently.

How to fix Nintendo Switch Error Code 2124-4508?

Well, there is not any specific solution for this issue. You can’t use online services onwards and this can be fixed by developers only. You have to wait for 24 hours, many players reported that the ban was removed automatically after 24 hours.

If it doesn’t happen as planned and you are seeing Nintendo Switch Error Codes 2124-4007 Or 2124-4508 on your screen then maybe you are banned permanently.

You can contact Nintendo customer support from here, and ask them about your problem. Due to Covid-19, you will have to wait as they are working from home.

I am able to update my banned switch normally with Nintendo servers.

    UPDATE —
Turns out it is a console ban, no surprise as I have used sx os :( Had to log in to a browser and relink my NNID.

What is Nintendo Switch Error Code 2124-4508?

This article provides information on how to deal with the error codes 2124-4007 and 2124-4508 and the error message «The use of online services on this console is currently restricted by Nintendo» while trying to connect to an online service on your Nintendo Switch. These error codes generally occur when your console has been permanently banned from connecting online due to a violation of the user agreements. Breaching the user agreements can involve activities such as fraudulent or unauthorised transactions or a violation of the code of conduct. If you receive any of these error codes or error messages, it is recommended that you contact Nintendo Support for assistance. They can provide more details on the reason for the ban and any steps that can be taken to address the issue. It is important to keep in mind that if the ban is due to a violation of the user agreements, it may not be possible to reverse the ban.

To avoid getting permanently banned from online services, it is important to always adhere to the code of conduct and user agreements. This includes avoiding any fraudulent or unauthorised transactions and behaving in a respectful and appropriate manner while playing online games. Additionally, it is important to ensure that any online purchases or transactions are made through legitimate sources and not through unauthorised third-party sellers. In summary, the error codes 2124-4007 and 2124-4508 and the error message «The use of online services on this console is currently restricted by Nintendo» indicate that your Nintendo Switch has been permanently banned from connecting online due to a violation of the user agreements. To address this issue, it is recommended to contact Nintendo Support for assistance and to always follow the Code of Conduct and user agreements to avoid getting banned in the future.

How to fix Nintendo Switch error code 2124-4508?

Regrettably, there’s no way to bypass a permanent suspension of a console by Nintendo. While you can still enjoy the gaming experience on your Nintendo Switch, you won’t be able to use online services or play games online. If you’re unsure about the reason behind your suspension, you may contact Nintendo Customer Support for more information. They may even remove the suspension from your account if there was a mistake or a misunderstanding. Typically, once a hardware ban is imposed on a Nintendo Switch, it’s final and cannot be undone. Unfortunately, if your console has already been permanently banned, there’s no way to prevent it. However, you can take steps to avoid violating the user agreements in the future, such as refraining from fraudulent transactions or violating the Code of Conduct.

The best way to avoid getting permanently suspended is to follow Nintendo’s user agreements and code of conduct. Avoid activities like fraudulent transactions, violating the Code of Conduct, or using unauthorised software or hardware modifications. Additionally, make sure to keep your console and account information secure and up-to-date to prevent any unauthorised access or use. However, if you feel that the ban was not justified, you can try to contact Nintendo to dispute your case. It’s advisable to contact them by phone, but if that’s not feasible, you can also reach out to them via chat or text message. You can find official Nintendo support options on their website. Cause of Nintendo Switch Error Code 2124-4508

Nintendo is committed to providing a fun, friendly, and safe environment for all of its users, and they take security concerns very seriously. They have a strict policy against any offensive or illegal activities that could harm their network. When a user violates Nintendo’s Code of Conduct, the console is often banned permanently. It is essential to understand the common reasons why this might happen so that you can avoid getting banned yourself. Another reason is violating Nintendo’s Code of Conduct.

      Playing pirated games

One of the most common reasons for a Nintendo Switch console to be permanently banned is downloading games illegally. Nintendo has the ability to detect fraudulent activity on the console, and when a game is installed legitimately and played online, the console generates a unique certification that cannot be forged. If a game is obtained unofficially, the certificate will be mismatched, triggering a notification to Nintendo.

      Unauthorised transactions

If you use a credit card in the Nintendo eShop that has been reported as lost, stolen, or involved in credit card fraud, this can also result in a permanent ban on your console.

Violation of the Code of Conduct

The Nintendo Switch may receive the error codes 2124-4007 or 2124-4508 when a user’s actions violate Nintendo’s Code of Conduct, which can lead to a permanent ban of the console. Nintendo has provided a detailed list of what constitutes a violation of the Code of Conduct on its official website.

      Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo Switch is a gaming console created by Nintendo and was globally released on March 3, 2017. It is unique in that it can be used as a handheld device or as a home console. The console includes detachable wireless Joy-Con controllers that can be used independently or attached to the console or grip accessory for traditional gamepad use. The console supports online gaming through the internet and local wireless connectivity with other consoles. It is available both in physical flash-based ROM cartridges and digital distribution via Nintendo eShop, with no region lockout. A revision of the system, called the Nintendo Switch Lite, was released on September 20, 2019, while a higher-end version featuring an OLED screen was released on October 8, 2021. The concept of the Nintendo Switch was developed by Nintendo as a reaction to financial losses in 2014 attributed to poor sales of its previous console, the Wii U, and competition from mobile games. The console was announced on October 20, 2016, and has since become a popular choice for gamers.

The Nintendo Switch is a console that belongs to the eighth generation and is in competition with other consoles like the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 from Microsoft and Sony, respectively. Additionally, it competes with the ninth generation of consoles like Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Series S and Sony’s PlayStation 5. Within its first month of release, almost three million units were shipped, surpassing Nintendo’s initial projection of two million. Within a year, over 14 million units were sold globally, which is more than the total lifetime sales of the Wii U.

If you’re the proud owner of a Nintendo Switch, you’ve probably at some point run into an error code when trying to play a game, or even right in the middle of a gaming session! If you want to know what a Nintendo Switch error code means, then you’ve come to the right place!
