I’m havin a problem with playin online BF5

When i try to connect online gam in weekly tasks, im either recieving an -32504 error matchmaking or connecting but I have a black screen, though i see chat, game is on.

Nothing changes (still black screen) till i got kicked for AFK.

Battlefield 2042 is the latest installment in Electronics Arts’ tactical FPS series. However, Battlefield 1 (its predecessor) still has a solid active player base to this day.

It seems that the sheer number of Battlefield 2042 issues has pushed some players to return to Battlefield 1 or forced others to reconsider upgrading for a better gaming experience.

However, many Battlefield 1 players on Xbox consoles have been struggling with server issues for a few hours.

According to multiple reports, there is an “Error Code 32504” or “Server Not Working” error that is preventing Battlefield 1 players from accessing games (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

Regardless of the filters, I can’t join any game. Whether I’m browsing servers or operations. When I browse servers they are all empty and when I use slot filters even 10+ had no servers. When I try to perform operations I get error code 32504. Can anyone help me?

Matchmaking doesn’t work, server browser doesn’t work either

Every time I search for an operation I get match making error code 32504. When I check the server’s browser and it says 0 players are logged in and I’ve tried every method to fix both issues, can anyone help me?

All reports of this issue appear to have come from players on Xbox consoles.

An EA Community Manager confirms that the issue has already been escalated to the development team. However, there are still no details on an estimated arrival time for a fix that will bring everything back to normal.

2:45 p.m. (ACTUAL): Some Battlefield 1 players have reported on Twitter that they are unable to play the game as the servers are down and not working.

@EAHelp was in the middle of a game on Battlefield 1 and the EA servers lost connection and won’t connect anymore… (source)

1. Whitelist the game in Firewall

1.1 Allow in Windows Firewall

1. In Start Menu, type Windows Security, and press Enter.
2. Click on Firewall & network protection.
3. Go to Allow an app through Firewall.
4. Click on Change settings.
5. Now, check the empty boxes for Private and Public networks next to the Battlefield.
6. Click on OK.

1.2 Allow in third-party Firewall

1. Open the AV or Firewall you are using.
2. Go to Protection or a similar option where you will get Firewall.
3. Go to Firewall settings.
4. Allow Battlefield game there.

We have used Bitdefender Total Security to show you the above instructions. If you have anything else like ESET Internet Security, you will need to figure out similar options. However, the instructions are mostly similar.

After whitelisting, try to play the Battlefield multiplayer and see if it works.

2. Clear cache

2.1 Clear EA App or Origin cache

1. Open the EA app.
2. Click on the three vertical lines icon in the top left corner to open the dropdown menu.
3. Select Help, and click on App Recovery.
4. Click on Clear Cache.

2.2 Clear Steam cache

1. Open Steam.
2. Click on Steam on the menu and go to Settings.
3. Go to the Downloads tab, and click on Clear download cache.

After clearing the client cache, restart it. Then, launch the game. It should fix error code 32504 in Battlefield.

3. Update the client

3.1 Update Steam

1. Open the Steam app.
2. Click on Steam and go to Check for Steam client update.
3. It will download the update, and then you will need to click on the Restart button.

3.2 Update the EA app

Both Steam and EA apps are designed to auto-update themselves. However, unlike Steam, the EA app doesn’t have the manual option. So, we suggest you relaunch the client. It should automatically check for the update and install if anything available.

4. Update the network adapter

A stable internet connection will not be helpful unless you have a proper working driver for the network adapter. So, it is better to update it by following these steps:

1. Open the Start Menu.
2. Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
3. Expand Network adapters.
4. Right-click on the network adapter you want to update and click on Update driver.
5. Follow any onscreen steps to complete the process.

If the device manager cannot find the latest update, it doesn’t mean you are using the most recent version of the driver. We suggest you use DriverFix, which is a dedicated driver updater. It can automatically install the most recent version of the network driver you need.

5.1 Repair on Steam

1. Open Steam.
2. Right-click on the Battlefield game you prefer and go to Properties.

1. Go to My Collection.

6. Try in a different network
