TaskBoard

The Task Board by default.

The Task Board is located at the top left corner of the Living Room. The Officer stands beside it.

  • This item will change appearance according to the skin of Officer, or during special seasons.

It is unlocked once the player has reached level 2-3 with the Safe already unlocked.

It displays all the daily tasks upon interaction.

  • Trying to interact with it in Multiplayer will show a message «Come next time when you play solo.»
    • The Officer will have an exclamation mark over his head, which normally indicates that a task or challenge has been completed.

Once the player completes the tasks, they must interact with the Officer to claim the reward. Completing these tasks can yield gems and materials and very rarely blueprints.

  • This is one of the better methods to collect Fertilizer, Free Trial Vouchers and the only method of obtaining Feather of Valkyrie once Boss Rush Mode is unlocked.

There are two types of tasks: Wanted Tasks and Challenge Tasks.

Road of Knights

The Road of Knights consists of 3 chapters, with 5 missions each. Rewards can be claimed for each mission completed, and additional rewards of 500, 750 and 1,000 Gems will be given after finishing 1, 3 and 5 missions per chapter, respectively. All missions of each chapter must be cleared before proceeding to the next one.

Wanted Tasks

Wanted Example

A completed Wanted task.

  • The player is required to kill the target enemy for a given number of times in each task.
  • Each day, 1 to 2 new Wanted tasks will appear. The Task Board can hold up to 4 Wanted tasks.
    • If Boss Rush Mode is unlocked, the lower left task will always refresh everyday, with the reward being two Feathers of Valkyrie.
  • These Wanted tasks do not need to be accepted. Simply go to play and kill enough targets and return to claim reward.
    • Kills gained in Multiplayer, Boss Rush Mode and The Origin count towards the tasks.
    • Kills gained from minions summoned by bosses do not count toward the tasks.
  • Be careful that killing the wrong enemies will not count (for example, a task requires brown Chester, which means that kills for the blue Chester do not count).
  • It is possible to discard a Wanted task by using the button at the lower left. This is useful if the player is given a quest which they cannot complete, and they can wait until tommorow for applicable task replacements.
  • Unlike most things that are undone by rerolling a level, enemy/boss tally isn’t. The player can use this to their advantage, completing any given level twice for more kills.

Challenge Tasks

Challenge Example

A challenge task.

  • The player is required to complete the game under 4 random conditions.
    • The conditions are refreshed every day.
    • Completing a challenge after refreshing date will count as completing the challenge of next day, and will yield the corresponding reward.
  • It is required to accept the Challenge by choosing the post and activating it. It is also possible to deactivate by the same method or interact with Officer twice.
    • In Multiplayer mode, however, the host has an option of picking some random conditions to start the game. These conditions can be random ones different from the daily task and do not offer additional rewards.
  • It is possible to accept and decline Challenge as many times as possible, however the reward can only be claimed once every day. (Unless the player deletes and re-installs the game, and then get back their cloud saves)
  • Some challenge conditions are either partially applied or not applied at all in the Lobby.
  • After completing a daily challenge, the player can talk to Officer and pay 200 gems to change conditions. This can be done 15 times a day.
    • This will not grant new rewards by completing the new conditions, however. These conditions will also be lost if they are not used immediately in the next run.
  • It is possible to bring conditions into The Origin, and some of them can be activated correctly, but it is impossible to complete a challenge since it is impossible to win.
  • NPC Officer can give random conditions. Doing so does not affect the state of challenges.

  • Sale Buff nullifies the condition.

  • The player has 3 additional slots for buffs chosen after 1-1.

  • The player can choose one buff from 4 options.
  • If the player has Heptacolor Viola or Tea, they will first reactivate disabled slots.
    • For example, getting one extra slot will make it available after 1-5, but not earlier. Getting a second extra slot will enable it to be allocated after 2-3, and so on.
  • Pre-Acquired Garden buffs count as bonus buffs and are not affected by this condition.
  • If this condition is obtained when the player has no spare buff slots, it does nothing.

Elite enemies appear more often

  • Stacks with Badass Mode settings.

  • Multiple statues can be worshipped without replacing other statue effects. Activating Skills will cause all ready effects to occur.
  • It is possible to keep all 10 statue effects.

NewWeapon

Weapons get reforged at the start of each level

  • Does not affect the weapon carried by mercenaries.
  • Does not happen at level 3-6 for balancing reasons, because it would disrupt the purpose of the «Game Complete» certificate.
  • Reforging follows the rules of the Reforging Furnace, such as:
    • This will remove any attachment if the player’s weapons are reforged into improper ones, like a Legendary Weapon. It is possible to get the attachment back, if the weapon got reforged back into another proper weapon without being replaced in the same floor.
    • Weapons will not become boss chest loot (like Cannibal Plant from any shotgun). But it is possible to get non-boss-drop boss weapons.
    • It is possible to get the same weapon from reforging.
    • Reforged weapons do not count towards the weapon counter in the Cellar.
  • In The Origin, this only happens once at game start.

NewBiome

Get a weapon when entering a new biome

  • Basically, it happens at 1-1 and every 5 levels after, such that a random weapon appears below the player.
    • Oddly, entering level 3-6 also gets a new weapon, this means that in the game files, the Magic Stones’s biome is considered as a different independent biome. However, changing weapons in 3-6 does not affect the certificate.
  • It is possible to get Legendary weapons, which is very likely to happen in 3-6.
  • If this happens in Boss Rush Mode, the «every 5 levels» rule applies, such that new weapons can appear in Boss Rush 2-2 and 3-3 instead.

Max HP =1

  • The Health Buff is restricted from appearing in the Buff selection screen.
  • The Caterpillar Fungus is unusable.
  • All other healing factors (potions, Buffs related to potions, and any other possible healing method) can still appear normally.
    • Wine bought from the Waiter, Beverage Vending Machine, Necromancer as an NPC and Consumable Weapons can still have effect until moving on to the next level.
  • Prevents the health increase of the «Gigantism» condition.
  • Does not affect the health of any other entity.
  • The Mysterious Trader and the Pharaoh can still appear, even though it is impossible for them to to tamper with health mechanics.

Infinite energy

  • Technically, the player will regenerate 10 energy per second.
  • The weapons will stop firing as soon as the energy hits zero, after which it will still regenerate.
  • All Energy restoration factors (including Crystal Mine) can still spawn.

Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%

  • Weapons will have their basic critical chance doubled, including minus «penalty» values.
    • The bonus from Accuracy Buff is added after the double, thus not affected by this condition.
  • When weapons deal critical hits, the damage is reduced by 50%, but cannot be less than 100% of damage on normal hits. This effectively means that non-elemental weapons cannot deal critical hits.
    • Events that occur on critical hits will still happen, like the Pierce Buff.
    • Does not affect non-hit damage, such as debuffs or environmental damage.
    • Does not hinder Elemental weapons, such that they can deal the same damage while causing debuffs.
      • However, having the Elemental Buff does not allow them to deal extra damage, unless the «Increase critical damage» condition is also applied.
    • Damage can be stacked with «Increase critical damage» condition such that weapons can deal 150% damage, rounded down on critical hits.

  • Weapons swing, shoot, charge and reload at half the usual speed.
    • Also affects weapons that accelerate over time (Red Dragon alike), such that their maximum fire rate will also be reduced.
    • Does not affect the speed of burst fire, if a weapon is able to (Improved SMG alike).
  • Weapons’ base damage is increased by 100%.
    • This includes charging weapons with variable damage.
    • This causes the weapons’ knockback to be stronger.
    • The One Punch will be able to deal 1,998 damage. This allows it to instantly kill almost any enemy in one hit — unless it is a Champion boss with the «Enemy HP +100%» condition.
    • Does not double the damage penalty if the weapon can have (Bleach at full speed).
    • Affects damage-amplifying attachments as well.
  • Does not affect non-weapon damage, such as environmental poison or fire pools, debuffs, basic melee attack, statues, and skills of any heroes (except Engineer’s turrets and Robot’s coil).
    • In Engineer’s case, although both the Gun Turret and Interceptor will have their damage reduced, only the Gun Turret will gain increased fire rate.
    • In case of Statue of the Berserker, the extra damage is added after boosting base damage.
    • The armaments of Mounts count as weapons and are thus affected as well.
  • Does not affect damage bonus from buffs.
  • The Charge Buff can neutralize the penalty of charging and reloading weapons.
  • Neutralized with Berserker Rage skill, such that during the burst the weapons attack with their normal rate.

Weapon fire rate +100%, attack -50%

  • Weapons attack/charge/reload twice as fast as usual.
    • Stacks with Berserker’s Rage skill, such that he can attack 4 times as fast as usual.
    • Also affects weapons that accelerate over time (Red Dragon alike), such that their maximum fire rate will also be doubled.
    • Does not affect the speed of burst fire, if a weapon is able to (Improved SMG alike).
  • Weapon basic damage is reduced by half, rounded up. For example, Bad Pistol deals 3 damage per shot originally, but will now deal 2 damage per shot if affected with this condition.
    • Thus, weapons with 0 or 1 basic damage (Mini UZI and Staff of Illusion alike) will not be reduced at all.
    • This includes charging weapons with variable damage.
    • If weapon damage may have penalty (Bleach), it will not drop below 1.
    • Affects damage-amplifying attachments as well.
  • Does not affect non-weapon damage, such as environmental poison or fire pools, debuffs, basic melee attack, statues, and skills of any heroes (except Engineer’s turret and Robot’s coil).
  • Does not affect damage bonus from buffs, like the Laser Buff. In this case, the Laser Buff stacks on the reduced damage. E.G. Laser Sword Red (12 normal damage) under both the Laser Buff and this condition will deal 8 damage per swing.
  • Charge Buff allows weapons to charge significantly faster.
  • Does not alter energy cost, therefore high-damage melee weapons or weapons that consume no energy yet reliable will become more effective.

Melee weapons only

  • All weapons spawned during a run will be melee weapons. ** This includes Misc weapons with melee function such as Badminton Racket or Meat. This also includes TNT and Box which are not melee weapons, but technically count because they prevent the player from using the basic melee attack.
  • Non-melee weapons held will be destroyed upon entering the next floor. On the start of a run, they will be replaced with a Shovel.
  • Does not affect weapons carried by mercenary and NPC characters.
  • Trying to reforge an invalid weapon will result in a valid Misc weapon.

Max energy -50%

  • Cuts down the player’s energy pool to half.
  • Also affects the More Energy Buff and Orange Juice, such that their effects are cut in half.
    • In The Origin, subsequent energy increases will also be affected.

Good Luck

  • Weapons of better tier can appear. For example, a Snow Fox Vintage can appear before level 2-1.
    • Also affects the Living Room chest such that it may contain some early weapons like Arbitrator and Guardian Railgun.
      • If the «Melee weapons only» condition is also activated, it may even contain Red/Legendary weapons (Caliburn alike).
    • Also affects the Gashapon Machine such that it may provide Red/Legendary weapons that are not boss drops.
    • No effect on reforging.
  • Affects the Scratch Card such that it’ll always provide gold drops.

  • The player will have +4 max health and +1 max armor.
    • Extra health can be overridden by the «Max HP=1» condition.
  • The player’s movement speed is reduced by 20%.
  • Basic melee damage is increased by 2.
  • Mounts are also resized bigger to fit characters.
  • This includes clones from Assassin’s Doppelgänger skill and Staff of Illusion as they still have their health scale with the basic health and armor of character.

  • The player will have -2 max health and -1 max armor (cannot be less than 1).
  • The player’s movement speed is increased by 20%.
  • The character becomes 20% smaller.

  • This includes clones from Assassin’s Doppelgänger skill and Staff of Illusion as they still have their health scale with the basic health and armor of character.

Regenerate HP when it’s below 50%

  • Without taking any further damage for 5 seconds, they will restore health until reaching half of maximum, rounded down.
    • For example, Druid with Health Buff can restore to 5/11 health.

TwoBosses

Fight with 2 slightly nerfed bosses in each Boss room

  • Each boss room will contain 2 bosses: the first one is a boss of its biome and the second one is a boss from the same floor level.
    • The second boss may come from another biome (like Goblin Priest in Glacier, or a Volcanic Sandworm in Spaceship). This includes unavailable bosses like Nian.
      • Cave Ice Bug, ◿ ⊣⊢ ⨀ ϟ ‡ and Grave Guard Scarab Archon do not appear as a second boss.
    • Both bosses are placed beside the center of the room.
      • If the first boss has an opening cutscene, both bosses are only placed after the cutscene ends.
    • The layout in the room is determined by the initial boss.
  • After defeating both bosses, two boss chests spawn instead of one.
    • After defeating both bosses in 3-5 and touching the Magic Stone, the Magic Stone will have the corresponding color of the boss defeated last.
  • Bosses under this condition are nerfed such that they have 150 less HP and some of their attacks are limited.

ChangeCharacters

May switch character when you enter a new level

  • Entering new level may change into other characters with random skins and skills.
    • It is possible to change into characters that the player hasn’t unlocked, with original skins and no upgrades.
    • It is not possible to change into legendary characters like Element Envoy.
    • If a locked skin is chosen, it will be replaced with another unlocked skin.
    • Character’s health and energy values have the same proportions as the previous level, rounded up. For example, in 2-1, a Knight has 5/7 health and 153/200 energy, in 2-2, a Werewolf will have 9/12 Health and 108/140 Energy.
    • If the character’s 6th buff is the same as one of the collected buffs, the character buff slot will be empty for the rest of the level.
      • If that buff is reset, the character will be forced to complete the current floor without that bonus buff.
    • The random skill can be any skill that a character possesses, which includes locked skills, even on locked characters.
    • When the Paladin NPC appears in a run, it’ll have the same skin as the one in the Living Room, but the Shield skin can be that of any Paladin skin, even the locked ones.
      • Said Shield may also change skin every floor if the player keeps it.
      • This also happens to NPC Druid who may summon a wolf of a wrong skin.
  • Weapons, Mounts, Statue effects stay the same, even if they are upgraded Starter Weapons. Therefore it’s the main way for other heroes to access upgraded Starter weapons they do not own.

Increase the number of bonus rooms

  • Each level can contain up to 2 Exclamation mark rooms.
    • Both rooms are always of different types.
  • It is still possible to encounter Champion rooms, but they do not count as bonus rooms.

Can only carry one weapon

  • The player can only carry 1 weapon. When the player tries picking other weapons up, it will drop their current weapon.
    • The player can still use Mounts normally.
  • The Extra Weapon Buff will neutralize this condition.

MoreCritDamage

Increase critical damage

  • Weapons deal 300% damage on critical hits instead of 200%.
    • Elemental weapons still require the Elemental Buff to deal more damage on critical hits. Otherwise they will not deal extra damage at all.
    • Damage can stack with «Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%» condition, such that weapons will deal 150% damage rounded down on critical hits.
      • For example, the Bad Pistol (3 basic damage) will deal 9 damage instead of 6 on critical hits. If «Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%» is also applied, it will deal 4 damage in that case.

  • After floor 1-1, the player may move to a random floor between 1-2 to 3-5 of any possible biome.
    • Each floor from 1-2 to 3-5 will only be visited exactly once each loop, in any order.
    • It is possible to encounter floors in mixed biomes. For example, a player can leave Spaceship 3-5 and reach Volcano 3-3.
    • It is possible to encounter any three different rooms in a row.
    • The player will be able to use buff slots according to the number of floors actually passed.
    • Under this condition, bosses at 3-5 will also spawn golden chests upon defeat.
    • If the run is failed, gems are calculated by the last floor being in.
    • For some reason, the levels stop randomizing after reaching 4-1 in Loop Mode.
    • Hidden biomes like Cave are inaccessible under this condition.

MonstersSplit

Monsters split into two when their HP is below 50%

  • When the HP of a minor enemy is less than 50%, that enemy will be replaced with two smaller versions of itself.
    • The effect still occurs even if damage exceeds its base HP.
    • Each split enemy has 50% HP of its original form.
    • Enemy-based death effects (i.e. Spider’s explosion on death) can trigger on both the original and split forms.
  • Has no effect on bosses.
  • Some minor enemies do not split under certain circumstances. For example, an Amphibian Pirate Type C can only split while on land.
  • Enemies do not split if defeated by using instant-kill methods (i.e. Death Note, Dimension Jumping skill of Inter-Dimension Traveler).

WeapsWithAttachs

All weapons are equipped with attachments

  • Once a run has started, every valid weapon (including those the player starts with) will appear with an attachment whenever possible.
    • This does not include one-time use attachments, nor mercenary weapons held by mercenaries.
    • Red/Legendary, Magenta/Mythical and unattackable weapons (such as Scratch Card) cannot and will not have attachments even under this condition.
    • Attachments found from fishing do not appear by this condition.
    • This happens whenever a weapon spawns. By putting weapons into a Reforging Furnace, each time it will appear with new attachment if possible.
    • Weapons sold in the Shop will each have their own attachment.
    • If for any reason a weapon does not have attachment when a new floor starts, it will be given another if possible. This can happen if the weapon is reforged to a different one which cannot use previous attachment.
  • This condition affects Pets, Followers and Mounts as well, even though they cannot use them normally.
    • Sometimes, the Devil’s Snare pet may fire on full-auto in a certain floor.
    • Armor Mounts may be equipped with random attachments which cannot be changed. This happens every floor.
  • It is possible for a follower to pick up a weapon mounted with an attachment and they will benefit accordingly However, when they drop the weapon it will not be separated from the weapon.

MonstersTeleport

Monsters shift to a different position the moment they get hit

  • If an enemy takes damage, it may teleport to another randomized location within the room.
    • This can happen even if the enemy is attacking while staying at place. Does not cancel the attack motion.
    • If a projectile would embed into the enemy, when teleportation happens that projectile is warped with it.
      • This means that the Zeus Thunderbolt will trigger its zap at a different location and Explosive Crossbow’s secondary attack will also activate on the enemy’s actual location, potentially damaging nearby foes when this happens.
    • Bosses and static enemies are affected.
    • If the hit kills the enemy, it may still teleport. This matters more with enemies that have special effects when they are defeated (Slime, Spider, etc).

  • Outside the lobby, the player can only see a limited area around their character.
    • The vision area has a radius of about 5 tiles.

  • Each floor has up to 2 same levels
  • The layout of rooms in the first few levels in each floor is the same. The same layout may appear 2-4 times.
    • This also applies to the contents of each room — such as the layout of walls/crates in enemy rooms, the contents of exclamation mark rooms, the items sold by traders (Trader and Mysterious Trader), as well as Vending Machines and NPCs in the starter room.
      • Some objects will have their outcomes fixed. For example, player always gets the same 3 buffs after visiting Scammer, and Claw Fun rooms always yield almost the same result sequence (except buff bubbles).
      • After going through a floor with a special room that contains five Pills and taking all five pills, with this condition, players will be able to determine the correct pills that heal players if the same floor appeared again.
    • The loot and type of chest rooms can change between levels.
    • Enemy types change according to floor number normally. For example in Halloween, even if the layout is the same, Witch can appear in 2-2 and Pumpkin Coach in 2-3.
    • Trying to reroll does not change the affected level.
  • It never applies to any boss level (this includes all x-5 and Boss Rush Mode floors).

  • Any source of Health recovery (Potions, any of Priest’s skills, etc.) on players will have their effects reduced by 50%, rounded down but not less than 1. Effect is multiplicative with other effects.

  • Does not affect energy recovery, or any healing to friendly NPCs.

  • Most Handguns, Rifles, Shotguns, Launchers and Laser Guns will have their fire rate reduced to half after consecutive attacks.

  • All weapons in other categories do not become overheat even if they work like above weapons (like Mini Knight Figure and The Emperor’s New Gun).

Killing Spree (You get stronger as you acquire a killstreak)

  • When the player defeats 3 monsters consecutively, the player’s movement speed increases. If there are no other defeats within 2 seconds, the effect disappears.
  • When the player defeats 5 monsters consecutively, the damage of each bullet from the player increases by 1. If there are no other defeats within 1 second, the effect will disappear.
  • When the player defeats 6 monsters consecutively, the recovery speed of the player’s shield increases. If there are no other defeats within 1 second, the effect disappears.
  • The duration of the effect is extended for each enemy kill. Otherwise, it will start dissipating.
  • The character sprite turns red when the effect is triggered.

  • Each floor will always spawn a shop and another chest room (that is never another shop). The content of the shop is as follows:
    • In a non-boss floor, the shop always has 4 items, with the fourth item always a Red/Legendary weapon.
    • In a boss floor, the shop will have 8 items, where the lower 4 items can be purchased with Gems, and have high chance to contain Buff bubbles.
  • All items have their proper price scaled with floor number.
  • Currently, fishing poles will not appear in shops under this condition.

Strong Body

Strong Body

  • If the player has never lost any health in the Cave biome, they will gain the «Strong Body» condition. This will give the player faster armor regeneration, reduces damage from ice-based attacks, and prevents them from being frozen.
    • Under this condition, armor starts to regenerate after 2 seconds instead of 5, and the regeneration is 50% faster.
    • This will affect the «Regenerate HP when it’s below 50%» condition such that the effect also occurs earlier.

  • If the player has used a revive in the Cave biome, they will gain the «Frostbite» condition. This will slow down the armor regeneration and cancel immunity to freeze.
    • Under this condition, armor starts to regenerate after 7 seconds instead of 5, and the regeneration is 100% slower, at 1 armor point every 2 seconds.
    • Using a revive before entering the Cave does not affect any result, such that it is still possible to get «Strong Body» as long as the player does not take health damage in the Cave.

    • All weapons in the staff category gain 1 bonus damage. This stacks with applicable Buffs.

    • The player gains all benefits from the Trap Buff.

  • If the player has used a revive in the Swamp biome, they will gain the «Deranged» condition.
    • Whenever the player takes health damage, a Tentacle of the Past will spawn nearby.
    • In every following level, the Fire Buff/Freeze Buff/Poison Buff may have their immunities disabled.
      • This is determined at random, and the effect only lasts for one level.
      • Only one Buff can be disabled. The one disabled will turn gray in the Pause Menu.

  • If the player has never lost any health in the Grave biome, they will gain the «Blessing Staff» condition.
    • Once the player dies they’ll revive once at 1 health, full energy and armor.

Bugs

  • When first added, there were several glitches:
    • The most infamous glitch is that the «More rooms in the dungeon» condition couldn’t be completed in the past.
      • The reason is because when entering 3-6, there would be one extra room that had no enemies yet it would lock when the player entered, effectively preventing them from obtaining the Magic Stone and finishing the game.
    • Some tablet users had a screen resolution issue that pushed the ‘Accept’ button off-screen. This prevented them from accepting any Challenges.
    • Axe-type weapons and Blind Missile Battery were bugged and not affected by «Weapon attack +100%, fire rate -50%» and «Weapon fire rate +100%, attack -50%» conditions.
    • The rewards of challenges could be claimed more than once a day, if the player completed the challenge more than once in the same day.
    • The health-reducing effect of the «Dwarfism» condition did not work.
    • Fire rate of weapons able to speed up over time was not affected by conditions regarding weapon damage and fire rate.
    • The «Weapons get reforged at the start of each level» condition would occur in level 3-6 at that time, such that the inventory when touching the Magic Stone could be different from the certificate.
      • In fact, the content of the «Game Clear» certificate is decided before entering 3-6.
    • Extra statue effects would be discarded upon entering a new level.

  • Before Update 2.0.0, the damage of One Punch would be displayed as «199» under «Weapon attack +100%, fire rate -50%» condition, instead of «1998» due to limited space. When fixed, the number is now shown in smaller font.
    • This also happened for the Prototype Railgun under «Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%» condition, where the critical chance was «-25%~100%» but shown as «-25%~10» instead.
  • Before Update 2.0.5, the «Better defense, but shield does not regenerate» would affect the mounts, such that they would be invincible if they had any defense.
  • During Update 2.0.5, under the ‘Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%’ condition, weapons that cause debuffs upon critical hits (except for bows, Spike Knives and Frost Spear) could deal double damage on critical hits, regardless of having the Elemental Buff or not.
    • Also, between Update 1.9.2 and Update 2.1.0, elemental weapons would deal 200% damage on critical hits with the Elemental Buff.
  • During Update 2.1.0, when both «Weapon crit rate +100%» and «Increase crit damage» conditions were activated, weapons can effectively deal 200% damage on critical hits.
  • A glitch may occur in Update 2.1.5, where if a player accepts the «Max HP= 1» condition but then cancels it and starts a run directly, the player will start with the correct max health, but the current health will be 1.
  • When Boss Rush Mode was first introduced in Update 2.2.0, the lower left task could only give one Feather of Valkyrie.
    • Also at that time, kills gained in Boss Rush Mode did not count toward the Wanted tasks.
  • There was a glitch before Update 2.2.0, where if Baby Dragon Bros appeared as the main boss under the «Fight with 2 slightly nerfed bosses in each Boss room» condition, the second boss would be glitched that its banner would not appear, and the boss health bar would not include its share. The Task Board by default.

The Task Board is located at the top left corner of the Living Room. The Officer stands beside it.

  • This item will change appearance according to the skin of Officer, or during special seasons.

It is unlocked once the player has reached level 2-3 with the Safe already unlocked.

It displays all the daily tasks upon interaction.

  • Trying to interact with it in Multiplayer will show a message «Come next time when you play solo.»
    • The Officer will have an exclamation mark over his head, which normally indicates that a task or challenge has been completed.

Once the player completes the tasks, they must interact with the Officer to claim the reward. Completing these tasks can yield gems and materials and very rarely blueprints.

  • This is one of the better methods to collect Fertilizer, Free Trial Vouchers and the only method of obtaining Feather of Valkyrie once Boss Rush Mode is unlocked.

There are two types of tasks: Wanted Tasks and Challenge Tasks.

Road of Knights

The Road of Knights consists of 3 chapters, with 5 missions each. Rewards can be claimed for each mission completed, and additional rewards of 500, 750 and 1,000 Gems will be given after finishing 1, 3 and 5 missions per chapter, respectively. All missions of each chapter must be cleared before proceeding to the next one.

Wanted Tasks

A completed Wanted task.

  • The player is required to kill the target enemy for a given number of times in each task.
  • Each day, 1 to 2 new Wanted tasks will appear. The Task Board can hold up to 4 Wanted tasks.
    • If Boss Rush Mode is unlocked, the lower left task will always refresh everyday, with the reward being two Feathers of Valkyrie.
  • These Wanted tasks do not need to be accepted. Simply go to play and kill enough targets and return to claim reward.
    • Kills gained in Multiplayer, Boss Rush Mode and The Origin count towards the tasks.
    • Kills gained from minions summoned by bosses do not count toward the tasks.
  • Be careful that killing the wrong enemies will not count (for example, a task requires brown Chester, which means that kills for the blue Chester do not count).
  • It is possible to discard a Wanted task by using the button at the lower left. This is useful if the player is given a quest which they cannot complete, and they can wait until tommorow for applicable task replacements.
  • Unlike most things that are undone by rerolling a level, enemy/boss tally isn’t. The player can use this to their advantage, completing any given level twice for more kills.

Challenge Tasks

A challenge task.

  • The player is required to complete the game under 4 random conditions.
    • The conditions are refreshed every day.
    • Completing a challenge after refreshing date will count as completing the challenge of next day, and will yield the corresponding reward.
  • It is required to accept the Challenge by choosing the post and activating it. It is also possible to deactivate by the same method or interact with Officer twice.
    • In Multiplayer mode, however, the host has an option of picking some random conditions to start the game. These conditions can be random ones different from the daily task and do not offer additional rewards.
  • It is possible to accept and decline Challenge as many times as possible, however the reward can only be claimed once every day. (Unless the player deletes and re-installs the game, and then get back their cloud saves)
  • Some challenge conditions are either partially applied or not applied at all in the Lobby.
  • After completing a daily challenge, the player can talk to Officer and pay 200 gems to change conditions. This can be done 15 times a day.
    • This will not grant new rewards by completing the new conditions, however. These conditions will also be lost if they are not used immediately in the next run.
  • It is possible to bring conditions into The Origin, and some of them can be activated correctly, but it is impossible to complete a challenge since it is impossible to win.
  • NPC Officer can give random conditions. Doing so does not affect the state of challenges.

  • When interacting with characters during a game, they will only reply, «I need to face these enemies alone.«:
    • Special interactions with mercenaries:
      • Mad Scientist: he will always become hostile.
    • Interacting with NPCs, such as Rogue, Assassin, Elf and Berserker, will reply with the quote above.
    • Special interactions with weapons:
      • Using weapons, such as Staff of Skeleton, Staff of Illusion, Super Monster Card and the like, will print out the quote above.
      • Snowman Eagle: this weapon will act similar to Frost Eagle, but double the energy cost and will not spawn snowman minions.
      • Character abilities and passive weapons that acts like pets or followers such as Satellite Floating Gun, Floating Gun, Floating Laser, WiFi Booster’s drones, will not be affected by this challenge condition.
    • Interactions with statues:
      • Statue of the Knight: this statue will reply with the quote above.
  • Pets and and followers brought from the main lobby will not appear once the game started.
  • For pets, followers, or summoning-like abilities that did still appear when the game started, they not move, but they still can attack when entering a room with enemies.
  • Interacting with character abilities:
    • Second skill (vines) of Druid, the third skill (guardian elf) of Elf, and the first and second skill (the turrets) of the Engineer will function normally with this challenge condition.
    • The second skill (clones) of Assassin, first and third skill of Druid, first, second, and third skill of Necromancer, and rabbits from Easter Eggs will not move or attack until entered a room with enemies.
  • Mounts function normally.
  • Note: Pet Buff will still appear in the game with this challenge condition, and it will still apply buffs onto the player.

Enemy defense +1

  • This condition buffs the Enemies. Any damage dealt to the enemies will be decreased by one. For example, usually Bad Pistol deals 3 damage or 6 damage on critical hits, but with this challenge condition, Bad Pistol will only deal 2 damage or 5 damage on critical hits.
  • This challenge condition also helps the enemies with decreasing the overtime debuffs effects such as fire and poison.
  • Enemies will become immune to traps (it deals 2 damage without this challenge condition).

Better defense, but shield does not regenerate

  • If the players take any damage while they still have armor, it will be cut down to one including debuff ticks.
    • This applies to Badass Mode where the damage is still up to 1.
    • Damage reducing happens after every other effect, such that damage taken cannot be less than 1, unless the damage is already reduced to 0 (Milk or other similar effects) before the condition applies.
    • Strong Shield Buff will not activate at all.
    • With Elf’s Guardian Elves skill, the blue fairy will still be able to regenerate armor despite the condition, making the skill very useful. This is more likely to be a bug.
    • For every loop in Loop Mode, damage taken is increased by one, thus making it almost impossible to continue.
  • Armor cannot be regenerated, not even with Priest’s skill or Ring yellow. The only way to refill armor is to get in a portal.
  • The «Armor takes extra damage but regenerates when broken» buff is overridden such that damage may display as 2 but the value is 1, and there is no regeneration.
  • When the player doesn’t have armor, they take normal damage.
  • Pets, followers and mounts take usual damage since they don’t have armor.

Max number of buffs -3

  • The player will start with only 2 buff slots, which are allocated at the end of 1-1 and 1-3. The remaining 3 buff slots will be disabled.
  • If the player has Heptacolor Viola or Tea, they will first reactivate disabled slots.
    • For example, getting one extra slot will make it available after 1-5, but not earlier. Getting a second extra slot will enable it to be allocated after 2-3, and so on.
  • Pre-Acquired Garden buffs count as bonus buffs and are not affected by this condition.
  • If this condition is obtained when the player has no spare buff slots, it does nothing.

Weapons get reforged at the start of each level

  • Does not affect the weapon carried by mercenaries.
  • Does not happen at level 3-6 for balancing reasons, because it would disrupt the purpose of the «Game Complete» certificate.
  • Reforging follows the rules of the Reforging Furnace, such as:
    • This will remove any attachment if the player’s weapons are reforged into improper ones, like a Legendary Weapon. It is possible to get the attachment back, if the weapon got reforged back into another proper weapon without being replaced in the same floor.
    • Weapons will not become boss chest loot (like Cannibal Plant from any shotgun). But it is possible to get non-boss-drop boss weapons.
    • It is possible to get the same weapon from reforging.
    • Reforged weapons do not count towards the weapon counter in the Cellar.
  • In The Origin, this only happens once at game start.

Get a weapon when entering a new biome

  • Basically, it happens at 1-1 and every 5 levels after, such that a random weapon appears below the player.
    • Oddly, entering level 3-6 also gets a new weapon, this means that in the game files, the Magic Stones’s biome is considered as a different independent biome. However, changing weapons in 3-6 does not affect the certificate.
  • It is possible to get Legendary weapons, which is very likely to happen in 3-6.
  • If this happens in Boss Rush Mode, the «every 5 levels» rule applies, such that new weapons can appear in Boss Rush 2-2 and 3-3 instead.

  • The Health Buff is restricted from appearing in the Buff selection screen.
  • The Caterpillar Fungus is unusable.
  • All other healing factors (potions, Buffs related to potions, and any other possible healing method) can still appear normally.
    • Wine bought from the Waiter, Beverage Vending Machine, Necromancer as an NPC and Consumable Weapons can still have effect until moving on to the next level.
  • Prevents the health increase of the «Gigantism» condition.
  • Does not affect the health of any other entity.
  • The Mysterious Trader and the Pharaoh can still appear, even though it is impossible for them to to tamper with health mechanics.

  • Technically, the player will regenerate 10 energy per second.
  • The weapons will stop firing as soon as the energy hits zero, after which it will still regenerate.

Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%

  • Weapons will have their basic critical chance doubled, including minus «penalty» values.
    • The bonus from Accuracy Buff is added after the double, thus not affected by this condition.
  • When weapons deal critical hits, the damage is reduced by 50%, but cannot be less than 100% of damage on normal hits. This effectively means that non-elemental weapons cannot deal critical hits.
    • Events that occur on critical hits will still happen, like the Pierce Buff.
    • Does not affect non-hit damage, such as debuffs or environmental damage.
    • Does not hinder Elemental weapons, such that they can deal the same damage while causing debuffs.
      • However, having the Elemental Buff does not allow them to deal extra damage, unless the «Increase critical damage» condition is also applied.
    • Damage can be stacked with «Increase critical damage» condition such that weapons can deal 150% damage, rounded down on critical hits.

Weapon attack +100%, fire rate -50%

  • Weapons swing, shoot, charge and reload at half the usual speed.
    • Also affects weapons that accelerate over time (Red Dragon alike), such that their maximum fire rate will also be reduced.
    • Does not affect the speed of burst fire, if a weapon is able to (Improved SMG alike).
  • Weapons’ base damage is increased by 100%.
    • This includes charging weapons with variable damage.
    • This causes the weapons’ knockback to be stronger.
    • The One Punch will be able to deal 1,998 damage. This allows it to instantly kill almost any enemy in one hit — unless it is a Champion boss with the «Enemy HP +100%» condition.
    • Does not double the damage penalty if the weapon can have (Bleach at full speed).
    • Affects damage-amplifying attachments as well.
  • Does not affect non-weapon damage, such as environmental poison or fire pools, debuffs, basic melee attack, statues, and skills of any heroes (except Engineer’s turrets and Robot’s coil).
    • In Engineer’s case, although both the Gun Turret and Interceptor will have their damage reduced, only the Gun Turret will gain increased fire rate.
    • In case of Statue of the Berserker, the extra damage is added after boosting base damage.
    • The armaments of Mounts count as weapons and are thus affected as well.
  • Does not affect damage bonus from buffs.
  • The Charge Buff can neutralize the penalty of charging and reloading weapons.
  • Neutralized with Berserker Rage skill, such that during the burst the weapons attack with their normal rate.

  • Weapon basic damage is reduced by half, rounded up. For example, Bad Pistol deals 3 damage per shot originally, but will now deal 2 damage per shot if affected with this condition.
    • Thus, weapons with 0 or 1 basic damage (Mini UZI and Staff of Illusion alike) will not be reduced at all.
    • This includes charging weapons with variable damage.
    • If weapon damage may have penalty (Bleach), it will not drop below 1.
    • Affects damage-amplifying attachments as well.
  • Does not affect non-weapon damage, such as environmental poison or fire pools, debuffs, basic melee attack, statues, and skills of any heroes (except Engineer’s turret and Robot’s coil).
  • Does not affect damage bonus from buffs, like the Laser Buff. In this case, the Laser Buff stacks on the reduced damage. E.G. Laser Sword Red (12 normal damage) under both the Laser Buff and this condition will deal 8 damage per swing.
  • Charge Buff allows weapons to charge significantly faster.
  • Does not alter energy cost, therefore high-damage melee weapons or weapons that consume no energy yet reliable will become more effective.

Melee weapons only

  • All weapons spawned will be melee weapons. This includes Misc weapons with melee function such as Badminton Racket or Meat, or melee weapons with projectiles like Flame Sword or Laser.
    • This also includes TNT and Box which are not melee weapons, but the game technically counts them as one because they prevent the player from using the basic melee attack. The player can use these weapons normally.
  • After entering a new level, all non-melee weapons held will be destroyed. If the player doesn’t have a melee weapon at hand, they will hold a Shovel instead. If they have one valid weapon and another invalid one, the invalid one will become a Shovel.
  • Does not affect weapons carried by mercenary and NPC characters. For example, NPC Elf will still have an Ancient Bow.
    • Sometimes, if the player obtains weapons that are not acceptable in the level, the above two situations may not occur.That’s may a bug.
    • If an invalid weapon is carried by a mercenary, the weapon will not be destroyed.
  • It is still possible to get Shield from NPC Paladin, and seasonal weapons from Naughty kid. However, since some of them are not melee weapons, they can only be used in the same floor.
  • Trying to reforge an invalid weapon will get a valid Misc weapon as result.

Fight with 2 slightly nerfed bosses in each Boss room

  • Each boss room will contain 2 bosses: The first one is the ordinary boss, the second one is another boss from the same floor level. Each boss has 150 HP less than their original form.
    • The second boss may come from another biome (like Goblin Priest in Glacier level, or a Volcanic Sandworm in Spaceship), or unavailable normally (like Nian).
      • Conditional bosses and secret biome bosses cannot appear as a second boss.
    • Both bosses are placed beside the center of the room.
      • If the first boss has an opening cutscene, both bosses are only placed after the cutscene ends.
    • The layout in the room is determined by the first boss.
  • After defeating both bosses, two boss chests spawn instead of one, if it is not the final level.
    • After defeating both bosses in 3-5 and touching the Magic Stone, the Magic Stone will have the corresponding color of the boss defeated last.

May switch character when you enter a new level

  • Entering new level may change into other characters with random skins and skills.
    • It is possible to change into characters that the player hasn’t unlocked, with original skins and no upgrades.
    • It is not possible to change into legendary characters like Element Envoy.
    • If a locked skin is chosen, it will be replaced with another unlocked skin.
    • Character’s health and energy values have the same proportions as the previous level, rounded up. For example, in 2-1, a Knight has 5/7 health and 153/200 energy, in 2-2, a Werewolf will have 9/12 Health and 108/140 Energy.
    • If the character’s 6th buff is the same as one of the collected buffs, the character buff slot will be empty for the rest of the level.
      • If that buff is reset, the character will be forced to complete the current floor without that bonus buff.
    • The random skill can be any skill that a character possesses, which includes locked skills, even on locked characters.
    • When the Paladin NPC appears in a run, it’ll have the same skin as the one in the Living Room, but the Shield skin can be that of any Paladin skin, even the locked ones.
      • Said Shield may also change skin every floor if the player keeps it.
      • This also happens to NPC Druid who may summon a wolf of a wrong skin.
  • Weapons, Mounts, Statue effects stay the same, even if they are upgraded Starter Weapons. Therefore it’s the main way for other heroes to access upgraded Starter weapons they do not own.

      • For example, the Bad Pistol (3 basic damage) will deal 9 damage instead of 6 on critical hits. If «Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%» is also applied, it will deal 4 damage in that case.

Random levels

  • After floor 1-1, the player may move to a random floor between 1-2 to 3-5 of any possible biome.
    • Each floor from 1-2 to 3-5 will only be visited exactly once each loop, in any order.
    • It is possible to encounter floors in mixed biomes. For example, a player can leave Spaceship 3-5 and reach Volcano 3-3.
    • It is possible to encounter any three different rooms in a row.
    • The player will be able to use buff slots according to the number of floors actually passed.
    • Under this condition, bosses at 3-5 will also spawn golden chests upon defeat.
    • If the run is failed, gems are calculated by the last floor being in.
    • For some reason, the levels stop randomizing after reaching 4-1 in Loop Mode.

Monsters split into two when their HP is below 50%

  • When a minor enemy has health lower than half, it will be replaced with two smaller version of same enemy.
    • This still happens if that enemy dies with that hit.
      • When this occurs, the game still registers that the player has killed the enemy, and as such this will trigger relevant skills (i.e. Get Energy Buff can restore 2 energy while Gain Health Buff may heal 1, and Assassin’s Dark Blade skill can reset).
    • Split duplicates enemies have half of max health as the original enemy, and will not split again. They still have same damage and drops as the original enemy. Thus, a champion enemy will split into two smaller champions and drop the same amount of gold/energy, as well as retaining the material drop chance.
      • This may result in obnoxious amounts of skin fragments dropped by enemies (i.e., Battle Ensigns and Judge’s Scrolls), at least in Multiplayer. If the player has less than 8 of those before starting the run, it’s easily possible to surpass the max count of 8, since enemies can keep dropping until the run is finished.
    • Enemy-based death effects (i.e. Spider exploding) can trigger on both the original enemy and the duplicates.
      • If the respawning enemy condition was active, the original enemy will not respawn, although the duplicates will.
    • Doesn’t affect bosses.
    • Some minor enemies do not split under certain states. For example, an Amphibian Pirate Type C can only split while on the land.
  • If the enemy is killed by instant death (Death Note, skill of Inter-Dimension Traveler and so on,) it will not split.

All weapons are equipped with attachments

  • Once a run has started, every valid weapon (including those the player starts with) will appear with an attachment whenever possible.
    • This does not include one-time use attachments, nor mercenary weapons held by mercenaries.
    • Legendary and unattackable weapons(such as Scratch Card ) cannot and will not have attachments even under this condition.
    • Attachments found from fishing do not appear by this condition.
    • Weapons appear with their stats including the attachment. Thus, it is possible to guess some of the attachments by inspecting them.
      • Example: A Mace with 16 damage means that it has a blue Grindstone, while a Laser Sword Blue with Energy Hilt already installed will show the hilt when seen.
    • This happens whenever a weapon spawns. Thus, by putting weapons into Reforging Furnace, each time it will appear with new attachment if possible.
    • If for any reason a weapon does not have attachment when a new floor starts, it will be given another if possible. This can happen if the weapon is reforged to a different one which cannot use previous attachment.
  • This condition affects pets, followers and mounts as well, even though they cannot use them normally.
    • Sometimes, the Devil’s Snare pet may fire on full-auto in a certain floor.
    • Armor mounts may be equipped with random attachments which cannot be changed. This happens every floor.
  • It is possible for a follower to pick up a weapon mounted with an attachment and they will benefit accordingly However, when they drop the weapon it will not be separated from the weapon.

Monsters shift to a different position the moment they get hit

  • If an enemy takes damage, it may teleport to another randomized location within the room.
    • This can happen even if the enemy is attacking while staying at place. Does not cancel the attack motion.
    • If a projectile would embed into the enemy, when teleportation happens that projectile is warped with it.
      • This means that the Zeus Thunderbolt will trigger its zap at a different location and Explosive Crossbow’s secondary attack will also activate on the enemy’s actual location, potentially damaging nearby foes when this happens.
    • Bosses and static enemies are affected.
    • If the hit kills the enemy, it may still teleport. This matters more with enemies that have special effects when they are defeated (Slime, Spider, etc).

    • The vision area has a radius of about 5 tiles.

  • The layout of rooms in the first few levels in each floor is the same. The same layout may appear 2-4 times.
    • This also applies to the contents of each room — such as the layout of walls/crates in enemy rooms, the contents of exclamation mark rooms, the items sold by traders (Trader and Mysterious Trader), as well as Vending Machines and NPCs in the starter room.
      • Some objects will have their outcomes fixed. For example, player always gets the same 3 buffs after visiting Scammer, and Claw Fun rooms always yield almost the same result sequence (except buff bubbles).
      • After going through a floor with a special room that contains five Pills and taking all five pills, with this condition, players will be able to determine the correct pills that heal players if the same floor appeared again.
    • The loot and type of chest rooms can change between levels.
    • Enemy types change according to floor number normally. For example in Halloween, even if the layout is the same, Witch can appear in 2-2 and Pumpkin Coach in 2-3.
    • Trying to reroll does not change the affected level.
  • It never applies to any boss level (this includes all x-5 and Boss Rush Mode floors).

  • Any source of Health recovery (Potions, any of Priest’s skills, etc.) on players will have their effects reduced by 50%, rounded down but not less than 1. Effect is multiplicative with other effects.
    • For example, if a player with Potion Effectiveness Buff picks up a large health pot, the result is 3.
  • Does not affect energy recovery, or any healing to friendly NPCs.

  • All weapons in other categories do not become overheat even if they work like above weapons (like Mini Knight Figure and The Emperor’s New Gun).

  • When the player defeats 3 monsters consecutively, the player’s movement speed increases. If there are no other defeats within 2 seconds, the effect disappears.
  • When the player defeats 5 monsters consecutively, the damage of each bullet from the player increases by 1. If there are no other defeats within 1 second, the effect will disappear.
  • When the player defeats 6 monsters consecutively, the recovery speed of the player’s shield increases. If there are no other defeats within 1 second, the effect disappears.
  • The duration of the effect is extended for each enemy kill. Otherwise, it will start dissipating.
  • The character sprite turns red when the effect is triggered.

  • Each floor will always spawn a shop and another chest room (that is never another shop). The content of the shop is as follows:
    • In a non-boss floor, the shop always has 4 items, with the fourth item always a Red/Legendary weapon.
    • In a boss floor, the shop will have 8 items, where the lower 4 items can be purchased with Gems, and have high chance to contain Buff bubbles.
  • All items have their proper price scaled with floor number.
  • Currently, fishing poles will not appear in shops under this condition.

Strong Body

  • If the player has never lost any health in the Cave biome, they will gain the «Strong Body» condition. This will give the player faster armor regeneration, reduces damage from ice-based attacks, and prevents them from being frozen.
    • Under this condition, armor starts to regenerate after 2 seconds instead of 5, and the regeneration is 50% faster.
    • This will affect the «Regenerate HP when it’s below 50%» condition such that the effect also occurs earlier.

Frostbite

  • If the player has used a revive in the Cave biome, they will gain the «Frostbite» condition. This will slow down the armor regeneration and cancel immunity to freeze.
    • Under this condition, armor starts to regenerate after 7 seconds instead of 5, and the regeneration is 100% slower, at 1 armor point every 2 seconds.
    • Using a revive before entering the Cave does not affect any result, such that it is still possible to get «Strong Body» as long as the player does not take health damage in the Cave.

    • All weapons in the staff category gain 1 bonus damage. This stacks with applicable Buffs.
      • However unlike the Elemental Staff Buff, it cannot enhance non-damage abilities like Staff of Illusion.
    • The player gains all benefits from the Trap Buff.

  • If the player has used a revive in the Swamp biome, they will gain the «Deranged» condition.
    • Whenever the player takes health damage, a Tentacle of the Past will spawn nearby.
    • In every following level, the Fire Buff/Freeze Buff/Poison Buff may have their immunities disabled.
      • This is determined at random, and the effect only lasts for one level.
      • Only one Buff can be disabled. The one disabled will turn gray in the Pause Menu.

Bugs

  • When first added, there were several glitches:
    • The most infamous glitch is that the «More rooms in the dungeon» condition couldn’t be completed in the past.
      • The reason is because when entering 3-6, there would be one extra room that had no enemies yet it would lock when the player entered, effectively preventing them from obtaining the Magic Stone and finishing the game.
    • Some tablet users had a screen resolution issue that pushed the ‘Accept’ button off-screen. This prevented them from accepting any Challenges.
    • Axe-type weapons and Blind Missile Battery were bugged and not affected by «Weapon attack +100%, fire rate -50%» and «Weapon fire rate +100%, attack -50%» conditions.
    • The rewards of challenges could be claimed more than once a day, if the player completed the challenge more than once in the same day.
    • The health-reducing effect of the «Dwarfism» condition did not work.
    • Fire rate of weapons able to speed up over time was not affected by conditions regarding weapon damage and fire rate.
    • The «Weapons get reforged at the start of each level» condition would occur in level 3-6 at that time, such that the inventory when touching the Magic Stone could be different from the certificate.
      • In fact, the content of the «Game Clear» certificate is decided before entering 3-6.
    • Extra statue effects would be discarded upon entering a new level.
    • It was possible to get opposite conditions (like «Max buffs +3» and «Max buffs -3» together) when starting a multiplayer game.
  • All of the glitches above were fixed in Update 1.9.2.
  • Before Update 1.9.7, the Health Buff could be used together with «Max HP= 1» condition, though having no effect.
    • However, using the Caterpillar Fungus could prevent the buff from appearing in the choice list, such that it’s not useless.
  • Before Update 2.0.0, the damage of One Punch would be displayed as «199» under «Weapon attack +100%, fire rate -50%» condition, instead of «1998» due to limited space. When fixed, the number is now shown in smaller font.
    • This also happened for the Prototype Railgun under «Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%» condition, where the critical chance was «-25%~100%» but shown as «-25%~10» instead.
  • Before Update 2.0.5, the «Better defense, but shield does not regenerate» would affect the mounts, such that they would be invincible if they had any defense.
  • During Update 2.0.5, under the ‘Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%’ condition, weapons that cause debuffs upon critical hits (except for bows, Spike Knives and Frost Spear) could deal double damage on critical hits, regardless of having the Elemental Buff or not.
    • Also, between Update 1.9.2 and Update 2.1.0, elemental weapons would deal 200% damage on critical hits with the Elemental Buff.
  • During Update 2.1.0, when both «Weapon crit rate +100%» and «Increase crit damage» conditions were activated, weapons can effectively deal 200% damage on critical hits.
  • A glitch may occur in Update 2.1.5, where if a player accepts the «Max HP= 1» condition but then cancels it and starts a run directly, the player will start with the correct max health, but the current health will be 1.
  • When Boss Rush Mode was first introduced in Update 2.2.0, the lower left task could only give one Feather of Valkyrie.
    • Also at that time, kills gained in Boss Rush Mode did not count toward the Wanted tasks.
  • There was a glitch before Update 2.2.0, where if Baby Dragon Bros appeared as the main boss under the «Fight with 2 slightly nerfed bosses in each Boss room» condition, the second boss would be glitched that its banner would not appear, and the boss health bar would not include its share. This glitch is purely visual.

The Task Board by default.

The Task Board is located at the top left corner of the Living Room. The Officer stands beside it.

  • This item will change appearance according to the skin of Officer, or during special seasons.

It is unlocked once the player has reached level 2-3 with the Safe already unlocked.

It displays all the daily tasks upon interaction.

  • Trying to interact with it in Multiplayer will show a message «Come next time when you play solo.»
    • The Officer will have an exclamation mark over his head, which normally indicates that a task or challenge has been completed.

Once the player completes the tasks, they must interact with the Officer to claim the reward. Completing these tasks can yield gems and materials and very rarely blueprints.

  • This is one of the better methods to collect Fertilizer, Free Trial Vouchers and the only method of obtaining Feather of Valkyrie once Boss Rush Mode is unlocked.

There are two types of tasks: Wanted Tasks and Challenge Tasks.

Road of Knights

The Road of Knights consists of 3 chapters, with 5 missions each. Rewards can be claimed for each mission completed, and additional rewards of 500, 750 and 1,000 Gems will be given after finishing 1, 3 and 5 missions per chapter, respectively. All missions of each chapter must be cleared before proceeding to the next one.

Wanted Tasks

A completed Wanted task.

  • The player is required to kill the target enemy for a given number of times in each task.
  • Each day, 1 to 2 new Wanted tasks will appear. The Task Board can hold up to 4 Wanted tasks.
    • If Boss Rush Mode is unlocked, the lower left task will always refresh everyday, with the reward being two Feathers of Valkyrie.
  • These Wanted tasks do not need to be accepted. Simply go to play and kill enough targets and return to claim reward.
    • Kills gained in Multiplayer, Boss Rush Mode and The Origin count towards the tasks.
    • Kills gained from minions summoned by bosses do not count toward the tasks.
  • Be careful that killing the wrong enemies will not count (for example, a task requires brown Chester, which means that kills for the blue Chester do not count).
  • It is possible to discard a Wanted task by using the button at the lower left. This is useful if the player is given a quest which they cannot complete, and they can wait until tommorow for applicable task replacements.
  • Unlike most things that are undone by rerolling a level, enemy/boss tally isn’t. The player can use this to their advantage, completing any given level twice for more kills.

Challenge Tasks

A challenge task.

  • The player is required to complete the game under 4 random conditions.
    • The conditions are refreshed every day.
    • Completing a challenge after refreshing date will count as completing the challenge of next day, and will yield the corresponding reward.
  • It is required to accept the Challenge by choosing the post and activating it. It is also possible to deactivate by the same method or interact with Officer twice.
    • In Multiplayer mode, however, the host has an option of picking some random conditions to start the game. These conditions can be random ones different from the daily task and do not offer additional rewards.
  • It is possible to accept and decline Challenge as many times as possible, however the reward can only be claimed once every day. (Unless the player deletes and re-installs the game, and then get back their cloud saves)
  • Some challenge conditions are either partially applied or not applied at all in the Lobby.
  • After completing a daily challenge, the player can talk to Officer and pay 200 gems to change conditions. This can be done 15 times a day.
    • This will not grant new rewards by completing the new conditions, however. These conditions will also be lost if they are not used immediately in the next run.
  • It is possible to bring conditions into The Origin, and some of them can be activated correctly, but it is impossible to complete a challenge since it is impossible to win.
  • NPC Officer can give random conditions. Doing so does not affect the state of challenges.

    • Special interactions with weapons:
      • Using weapons, such as Staff of Skeleton, Staff of Illusion, Super Monster Card and the like, will print out the quote above.
      • Snowman Eagle: this weapon will act similar to Frost Eagle, but double the energy cost and will not spawn snowman minions.
      • Character abilities and passive weapons that acts like pets or followers such as Satellite Floating Gun, Floating Gun, Floating Laser, WiFi Booster’s drones, will not be affected by this challenge condition.
    • Interactions with statues:
      • Statue of the Knight: this statue will reply with the quote above.
  • Pets and and followers brought from the main lobby will not appear once the game started.
  • For pets, followers, or summoning-like abilities that did still appear when the game started, they not move, but they still can attack when entering a room with enemies.
  • Interacting with character abilities:
    • Second skill (vines) of Druid, the third skill (guardian elf) of Elf, and the first and second skill (the turrets) of the Engineer will function normally with this challenge condition.
    • The second skill (clones) of Assassin, first and third skill of Druid, first, second, and third skill of Necromancer, and rabbits from Easter Eggs will not move or attack until entered a room with enemies.
  • Mounts function normally.
  • Note: Pet Buff will still appear in the game with this challenge condition, and it will still apply buffs onto the player.

Enemy defense +1

  • This condition buffs the Enemies. Any damage dealt to the enemies will be decreased by one. For example, usually Bad Pistol deals 3 damage or 6 damage on critical hits, but with this challenge condition, Bad Pistol will only deal 2 damage or 5 damage on critical hits.
  • This challenge condition also helps the enemies with decreasing the overtime debuffs effects such as fire and poison.
  • Enemies will become immune to traps (it deals 2 damage without this challenge condition).

Better defense, but shield does not regenerate

  • If the players take any damage while they still have armor, it will be cut down to one including debuff ticks.
    • This applies to Badass Mode where the damage is still up to 1.
    • Damage reducing happens after every other effect, such that damage taken cannot be less than 1, unless the damage is already reduced to 0 (Milk or other similar effects) before the condition applies.
    • Strong Shield Buff will not activate at all.
    • With Elf’s Guardian Elves skill, the blue fairy will still be able to regenerate armor despite the condition, making the skill very useful. This is more likely to be a bug.
    • For every loop in Loop Mode, damage taken is increased by one, thus making it almost impossible to continue.
  • Armor cannot be regenerated, not even with Priest’s skill or Ring yellow. The only way to refill armor is to get in a portal.
  • The «Armor takes extra damage but regenerates when broken» buff is overridden such that damage may display as 2 but the value is 1, and there is no regeneration.
  • When the player doesn’t have armor, they take normal damage.
  • Pets, followers and mounts take usual damage since they don’t have armor.

Max number of buffs -3

  • The player will start with only 2 buff slots, which are allocated at the end of 1-1 and 1-3. The remaining 3 buff slots will be disabled.
  • If the player has Heptacolor Viola or Tea, they will first reactivate disabled slots.
    • For example, getting one extra slot will make it available after 1-5, but not earlier. Getting a second extra slot will enable it to be allocated after 2-3, and so on.
  • Pre-Acquired Garden buffs count as bonus buffs and are not affected by this condition.
  • If this condition is obtained when the player has no spare buff slots, it does nothing.

Weapons get reforged at the start of each level

  • Does not affect the weapon carried by mercenaries.
  • Does not happen at level 3-6 for balancing reasons, because it would disrupt the purpose of the «Game Complete» certificate.
  • Reforging follows the rules of the Reforging Furnace, such as:
    • This will remove any attachment if the player’s weapons are reforged into improper ones, like a Legendary Weapon. It is possible to get the attachment back, if the weapon got reforged back into another proper weapon without being replaced in the same floor.
    • Weapons will not become boss chest loot (like Cannibal Plant from any shotgun). But it is possible to get non-boss-drop boss weapons.
    • It is possible to get the same weapon from reforging.
    • Reforged weapons do not count towards the weapon counter in the Cellar.
  • In The Origin, this only happens once at game start.

Get a weapon when entering a new biome

  • Basically, it happens at 1-1 and every 5 levels after, such that a random weapon appears below the player.
    • Oddly, entering level 3-6 also gets a new weapon, this means that in the game files, the Magic Stones’s biome is considered as a different independent biome. However, changing weapons in 3-6 does not affect the certificate.
  • It is possible to get Legendary weapons, which is very likely to happen in 3-6.
  • If this happens in Boss Rush Mode, the «every 5 levels» rule applies, such that new weapons can appear in Boss Rush 2-2 and 3-3 instead.

  • The Health Buff is restricted from appearing in the Buff selection screen.
  • The Caterpillar Fungus is unusable.
  • All other healing factors (potions, Buffs related to potions, and any other possible healing method) can still appear normally.
    • Wine bought from the Waiter, Beverage Vending Machine, Necromancer as an NPC and Consumable Weapons can still have effect until moving on to the next level.
  • Prevents the health increase of the «Gigantism» condition.

Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%

  • Weapons will have their basic critical chance doubled, including minus «penalty» values.
    • The bonus from Accuracy Buff is added after the double, thus not affected by this condition.
  • When weapons deal critical hits, the damage is reduced by 50%, but cannot be less than 100% of damage on normal hits. This effectively means that non-elemental weapons cannot deal critical hits.
    • Events that occur on critical hits will still happen, like the Pierce Buff.
    • Does not affect non-hit damage, such as debuffs or environmental damage.
    • Does not hinder Elemental weapons, such that they can deal the same damage while causing debuffs.
      • However, having the Elemental Buff does not allow them to deal extra damage, unless the «Increase critical damage» condition is also applied.
    • Damage can be stacked with «Increase critical damage» condition such that weapons can deal 150% damage, rounded down on critical hits.

  • Weapons swing, shoot, charge and reload at half the usual speed.
    • Also affects weapons that accelerate over time (Red Dragon alike), such that their maximum fire rate will also be reduced.
    • Does not affect the speed of burst fire, if a weapon is able to (Improved SMG alike).
  • Weapons’ base damage is increased by 100%.
    • This includes charging weapons with variable damage.
    • This causes the weapons’ knockback to be stronger.
    • The One Punch will be able to deal 1,998 damage. This allows it to instantly kill almost any enemy in one hit — unless it is a Champion boss with the «Enemy HP +100%» condition.
    • Does not double the damage penalty if the weapon can have (Bleach at full speed).
    • Affects damage-amplifying attachments as well.
  • Does not affect non-weapon damage, such as environmental poison or fire pools, debuffs, basic melee attack, statues, and skills of any heroes (except Engineer’s turrets and Robot’s coil).
    • In Engineer’s case, although both the Gun Turret and Interceptor will have their damage reduced, only the Gun Turret will gain increased fire rate.
    • In case of Statue of the Berserker, the extra damage is added after boosting base damage.
    • The armaments of Mounts count as weapons and are thus affected as well.
  • Does not affect damage bonus from buffs.
  • The Charge Buff can neutralize the penalty of charging and reloading weapons.
  • Neutralized with Berserker Rage skill, such that during the burst the weapons attack with their normal rate.

    • Thus, weapons with 0 or 1 basic damage (Mini UZI and Staff of Illusion alike) will not be reduced at all.
    • This includes charging weapons with variable damage.
    • If weapon damage may have penalty (Bleach), it will not drop below 1.
    • Affects damage-amplifying attachments as well.
  • Does not affect non-weapon damage, such as environmental poison or fire pools, debuffs, basic melee attack, statues, and skills of any heroes (except Engineer’s turret and Robot’s coil).
  • Does not affect damage bonus from buffs, like the Laser Buff. In this case, the Laser Buff stacks on the reduced damage. E.G. Laser Sword Red (12 normal damage) under both the Laser Buff and this condition will deal 8 damage per swing.
  • Charge Buff allows weapons to charge significantly faster.
  • Does not alter energy cost, therefore high-damage melee weapons or weapons that consume no energy yet reliable will become more effective.

Melee weapons only

  • All weapons spawned will be melee weapons. This includes Misc weapons with melee function such as Badminton Racket or Meat, or melee weapons with projectiles like Flame Sword or Laser.
    • This also includes TNT and Box which are not melee weapons, but the game technically counts them as one because they prevent the player from using the basic melee attack. The player can use these weapons normally.
  • After entering a new level, all non-melee weapons held will be destroyed. If the player doesn’t have a melee weapon at hand, they will hold a Shovel instead. If they have one valid weapon and another invalid one, the invalid one will become a Shovel.
  • Does not affect weapons carried by mercenary and NPC characters. For example, NPC Elf will still have an Ancient Bow.
    • Sometimes, if the player obtains weapons that are not acceptable in the level, the above two situations may not occur.That’s may a bug.
    • If an invalid weapon is carried by a mercenary, the weapon will not be destroyed.
  • It is still possible to get Shield from NPC Paladin, and seasonal weapons from Naughty kid. However, since some of them are not melee weapons, they can only be used in the same floor.
  • Trying to reforge an invalid weapon will get a valid Misc weapon as result.

Fight with 2 slightly nerfed bosses in each Boss room

  • Each boss room will contain 2 bosses: The first one is the ordinary boss, the second one is another boss from the same floor level. Each boss has 150 HP less than their original form.
    • The second boss may come from another biome (like Goblin Priest in Glacier level, or a Volcanic Sandworm in Spaceship), or unavailable normally (like Nian).
      • Conditional bosses and secret biome bosses cannot appear as a second boss.
    • Both bosses are placed beside the center of the room.
      • If the first boss has an opening cutscene, both bosses are only placed after the cutscene ends.
    • The layout in the room is determined by the first boss.
  • After defeating both bosses, two boss chests spawn instead of one, if it is not the final level.
    • After defeating both bosses in 3-5 and touching the Magic Stone, the Magic Stone will have the corresponding color of the boss defeated last.

May switch character when you enter a new level

  • Entering new level may change into other characters with random skins and skills.
    • It is possible to change into characters that the player hasn’t unlocked, with original skins and no upgrades.
    • It is not possible to change into legendary characters like Element Envoy.
    • If a locked skin is chosen, it will be replaced with another unlocked skin.
    • Character’s health and energy values have the same proportions as the previous level, rounded up. For example, in 2-1, a Knight has 5/7 health and 153/200 energy, in 2-2, a Werewolf will have 9/12 Health and 108/140 Energy.
    • If the character’s 6th buff is the same as one of the collected buffs, the character buff slot will be empty for the rest of the level.
      • If that buff is reset, the character will be forced to complete the current floor without that bonus buff.
    • The random skill can be any skill that a character possesses, which includes locked skills, even on locked characters.
    • When the Paladin NPC appears in a run, it’ll have the same skin as the one in the Living Room, but the Shield skin can be that of any Paladin skin, even the locked ones.
      • Said Shield may also change skin every floor if the player keeps it.
      • This also happens to NPC Druid who may summon a wolf of a wrong skin.
  • Weapons, Mounts, Statue effects stay the same, even if they are upgraded Starter Weapons. Therefore it’s the main way for other heroes to access upgraded Starter weapons they do not own.

Random levels

  • After floor 1-1, the player may move to a random floor between 1-2 to 3-5 of any possible biome.
    • Each floor from 1-2 to 3-5 will only be visited exactly once each loop, in any order.
    • It is possible to encounter floors in mixed biomes. For example, a player can leave Spaceship 3-5 and reach Volcano 3-3.
    • It is possible to encounter any three different rooms in a row.
    • The player will be able to use buff slots according to the number of floors actually passed.
    • Under this condition, bosses at 3-5 will also spawn golden chests upon defeat.
    • If the run is failed, gems are calculated by the last floor being in.
    • For some reason, the levels stop randomizing after reaching 4-1 in Loop Mode.
    • Hidden biomes like Cave are inaccessible under this condition.

  • When a minor enemy has health lower than half, it will be replaced with two smaller version of same enemy.
    • This still happens if that enemy dies with that hit.
      • When this occurs, the game still registers that the player has killed the enemy, and as such this will trigger relevant skills (i.e. Get Energy Buff can restore 2 energy while Gain Health Buff may heal 1, and Assassin’s Dark Blade skill can reset).
    • Split duplicates enemies have half of max health as the original enemy, and will not split again. They still have same damage and drops as the original enemy. Thus, a champion enemy will split into two smaller champions and drop the same amount of gold/energy, as well as retaining the material drop chance.
      • This may result in obnoxious amounts of skin fragments dropped by enemies (i.e., Battle Ensigns and Judge’s Scrolls), at least in Multiplayer. If the player has less than 8 of those before starting the run, it’s easily possible to surpass the max count of 8, since enemies can keep dropping until the run is finished.
    • Enemy-based death effects (i.e. Spider exploding) can trigger on both the original enemy and the duplicates.
      • If the respawning enemy condition was active, the original enemy will not respawn, although the duplicates will.
    • Doesn’t affect bosses.
    • Some minor enemies do not split under certain states. For example, an Amphibian Pirate Type C can only split while on the land.
  • If the enemy is killed by instant death (Death Note, skill of Inter-Dimension Traveler and so on,) it will not split.

All weapons are equipped with attachments

  • Once a run has started, every valid weapon (including those the player starts with) will appear with an attachment whenever possible.
    • This does not include one-time use attachments, nor mercenary weapons held by mercenaries.
    • Legendary and unattackable weapons(such as Scratch Card ) cannot and will not have attachments even under this condition.
    • Attachments found from fishing do not appear by this condition.
    • Weapons appear with their stats including the attachment. Thus, it is possible to guess some of the attachments by inspecting them.
      • Example: A Mace with 16 damage means that it has a blue Grindstone, while a Laser Sword Blue with Energy Hilt already installed will show the hilt when seen.
    • This happens whenever a weapon spawns. Thus, by putting weapons into Reforging Furnace, each time it will appear with new attachment if possible.
    • If for any reason a weapon does not have attachment when a new floor starts, it will be given another if possible. This can happen if the weapon is reforged to a different one which cannot use previous attachment.
  • This condition affects pets, followers and mounts as well, even though they cannot use them normally.
    • Sometimes, the Devil’s Snare pet may fire on full-auto in a certain floor.
    • Armor mounts may be equipped with random attachments which cannot be changed. This happens every floor.
  • It is possible for a follower to pick up a weapon mounted with an attachment and they will benefit accordingly However, when they drop the weapon it will not be separated from the weapon.

MonstersTeleport.png

Monsters shift to a different position the moment they get hit

  • If an enemy takes damage, it may teleport to another randomized location within the room.
    • This can happen even if the enemy is attacking while staying at place. Does not cancel the attack motion.
    • If a projectile would embed into the enemy, when teleportation happens that projectile is warped with it.
      • This means that the Zeus Thunderbolt will trigger its zap at a different location and Explosive Crossbow’s secondary attack will also activate on the enemy’s actual location, potentially damaging nearby foes when this happens.
    • Bosses and static enemies are affected.
    • If the hit kills the enemy, it may still teleport. This matters more with enemies that have special effects when they are defeated (Slime, Spider, etc).

  • The layout of rooms in the first few levels in each floor is the same. The same layout may appear 2-4 times.

    • Trying to reroll does not change the affected level.
  • It never applies to any boss level (this includes all x-5 and Boss Rush Mode floors).

  • When the player defeats 3 monsters consecutively, the player’s movement speed increases. If there are no other defeats within 2 seconds, the effect disappears.
  • When the player defeats 5 monsters consecutively, the damage of each bullet from the player increases by 1. If there are no other defeats within 1 second, the effect will disappear.
  • When the player defeats 6 monsters consecutively, the recovery speed of the player’s shield increases. If there are no other defeats within 1 second, the effect disappears.
  • The duration of the effect is extended for each enemy kill. Otherwise, it will start dissipating.
  • The character sprite turns red when the effect is triggered.

  • Each floor will always spawn a shop and another chest room (that is never another shop). The content of the shop is as follows:
    • In a non-boss floor, the shop always has 4 items, with the fourth item always a Red/Legendary weapon.
    • In a boss floor, the shop will have 8 items, where the lower 4 items can be purchased with Gems, and have high chance to contain Buff bubbles.
  • All items have their proper price scaled with floor number.

Strong Body

  • If the player has never lost any health in the Cave biome, they will gain the «Strong Body» condition. This will give the player faster armor regeneration, reduces damage from ice-based attacks, and prevents them from being frozen.
    • Under this condition, armor starts to regenerate after 2 seconds instead of 5, and the regeneration is 50% faster.
    • This will affect the «Regenerate HP when it’s below 50%» condition such that the effect also occurs earlier.

  • If the player has used a revive in the Cave biome, they will gain the «Frostbite» condition. This will slow down the armor regeneration and cancel immunity to freeze.
    • Under this condition, armor starts to regenerate after 7 seconds instead of 5, and the regeneration is 100% slower, at 1 armor point every 2 seconds.
    • Using a revive before entering the Cave does not affect any result, such that it is still possible to get «Strong Body» as long as the player does not take health damage in the Cave.

    • Whenever the player takes health damage, a Tentacle of the Past will spawn nearby.
    • In every following level, the Fire Buff/Freeze Buff/Poison Buff may have their immunities disabled.
      • This is determined at random, and the effect only lasts for one level.
      • Only one Buff can be disabled. The one disabled will turn gray in the Pause Menu.

Bugs

  • When first added, there were several glitches:
    • The most infamous glitch is that the «More rooms in the dungeon» condition couldn’t be completed in the past.
      • The reason is because when entering 3-6, there would be one extra room that had no enemies yet it would lock when the player entered, effectively preventing them from obtaining the Magic Stone and finishing the game.
    • Some tablet users had a screen resolution issue that pushed the ‘Accept’ button off-screen. This prevented them from accepting any Challenges.
    • Axe-type weapons and Blind Missile Battery were bugged and not affected by «Weapon attack +100%, fire rate -50%» and «Weapon fire rate +100%, attack -50%» conditions.
    • The rewards of challenges could be claimed more than once a day, if the player completed the challenge more than once in the same day.
    • The health-reducing effect of the «Dwarfism» condition did not work.
    • Fire rate of weapons able to speed up over time was not affected by conditions regarding weapon damage and fire rate.
    • The «Weapons get reforged at the start of each level» condition would occur in level 3-6 at that time, such that the inventory when touching the Magic Stone could be different from the certificate.
      • In fact, the content of the «Game Clear» certificate is decided before entering 3-6.
    • Extra statue effects would be discarded upon entering a new level.

    • This also happened for the Prototype Railgun under «Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%» condition, where the critical chance was «-25%~100%» but shown as «-25%~10» instead.
  • Before Update 2.0.5, the «Better defense, but shield does not regenerate» would affect the mounts, such that they would be invincible if they had any defense.
  • During Update 2.0.5, under the ‘Weapon crit rate +100%, crit damage -50%’ condition, weapons that cause debuffs upon critical hits (except for bows, Spike Knives and Frost Spear) could deal double damage on critical hits, regardless of having the Elemental Buff or not.
    • Also, between Update 1.9.2 and Update 2.1.0, elemental weapons would deal 200% damage on critical hits with the Elemental Buff.
  • During Update 2.1.0, when both «Weapon crit rate +100%» and «Increase crit damage» conditions were activated, weapons can effectively deal 200% damage on critical hits.
  • A glitch may occur in Update 2.1.5, where if a player accepts the «Max HP= 1» condition but then cancels it and starts a run directly, the player will start with the correct max health, but the current health will be 1.
  • When Boss Rush Mode was first introduced in Update 2.2.0, the lower left task could only give one Feather of Valkyrie.
    • Also at that time, kills gained in Boss Rush Mode did not count toward the Wanted tasks.

В комнате выбора героев есть множество полезных предметов, с помощью которых можно, например, увеличить начальные навыки героя. В обмен на кристаллы, конечно. Для взаимодействия с предметом нужно выбрать героя, подойти к предмету и тапнуть кнопку стрельбы (меняется на «взаимодействие» при подходе к предмету). Поднятие характеристики на 1 стоит 500 кристаллов, последующие уровни потребуют на 500 кристаллов больше. Список предметов по часовой стрелке от выхода в боевую зону:

Статуя Волшебника : В последнем обновлении немного переделали. Теперь стреляет на 180 градусов вперёд (т.е. на половину круга, а не на весь).
Статуя Эльфа : Не совсем согласен с приведённой трактовкой. На моём опыте она просто отталкивает врагов. На их атаки это практически не сказывается (я говорю про дальние атаки, а не ближнего боя).
Статуя Ассасина : А у этой статуи есть интересный эффект: клинки (или иглы), что он кидает, считаются атакой. Это тоже надо учитывать, т.к. при использовании рыцарем количество клинков (игл) увеличивается. Одна из причин, это перенагружение хитбоксами, к примеру, если хитбоксов слишком много, это лёгкий примеря в режме начало, начинает дико лагать, от колличества пикселей, хитбоксов, телефон перенагружен всем этим просто. Даже сервера игр вряд ли держат это, вот почему ещё мультиплеер плоо работает, это простая причина!

Одна из причин, это перенагружение хитбоксами, к примеру, если хитбоксов слишком много, это лёгкий примеря в режме начало, начинает дико лагать, от колличества пикселей, хитбоксов, телефон перенагружен всем этим просто. Даже сервера игр вряд ли держат это, вот почему ещё мультиплеер плоо работает, это простая причина!

причин может быть несколько. во первых попробуйте переустановить игру. во вторых проверьте свое устройство на поддержание требований игры. не туда дорога к нам дорогу принял дорогу туда, зайдёт ночами не слушают с которой стороны было. За грибами потому что она рассказывала но надо так до хутора в дальнейшем говорят что давайте сегодня будем тебе сегодня через ворота.в случае если ваши попытки не увенчались успехом советую обратится в службу технической поддержки. сделать это можно посетив сайт игры.

Доброго времени суток. Если у вас возникли проблемы с запуском игры Soul Knight, для начала вы можете попробовать сами решить эту проблему, воспользовавшись несколькими способами. Первым делом попробуйте переустановить игру с файла, но при установке посмотрите, есть ли ограничения для этой игры или наоборот какие-то требования. Но если и это не поможет, то вам стоит обратиться за помощью на официальный сайт игры и написать в поддержку.

Q: How can I cloud save? (Android)?

Please refer to Soul Knight Cloud Save Manual for Android Users. The only supported way to back up your game data is via the in-game cloud save feature, where you need to upload your local save data to the cloud MANUALLY. Simply logging into Google Play Games will NOT auto-save your progress. Tapping on the Facebook button on the main screen will NOT «link your game account with Facebook» either.

If you have never cloud saved before, there is no way for us to recover your lost data for you. App reinstall, factory reset, and device change are all system-level operations that can wipe all the app data clean. Soul Knight does not auto-back up your data. You need to manually save it to the cloud from time to time to prevent unexpected data loss.

1. I have cloud saved before.

Log into the same account that you used to cloud save. When the cloud save bar shows your save data, tap on Download Progress.

2. I have NEVER cloud saved before.

Your game data cannot be restored. It has been erased from your device. And since you have never cloud saved, there is no backup of it in our server either.
But non-consumable in-app purchases (heroes, skills, etc. that are unlocked with real money) can be restored.

Multiplayer (also known as LAN Co-op and Online Co-op) is a gameplay mode where the player can play with other people. Up to 4 people can play with each other in the same game. This mode can be accessed from the starting screen.

Starting Multiplayer

  • One person needs to be the host. They press the «Host game» button, then decide the room name («SoulKnight» by default). They will then be presented with three checkboxes that can be checked and unchecked freely; if checked, the first enables Badass Mode, the second enables Boss Rush Mode (only available if the host has unlocked the mode and has any Feathers of Valkyrie) and the third enables challenge conditions (random ones are picked every time conditions are enabled, allowing the players to search for the ones they want. These are always different from the ones on the host’s Task Board). Then, they can confirm their settings, after which they will be sent to the Living Room. Once they are done in the Living Room, the host may enter the door to initialize the game.
  • Other people should first connect to the same Wi-Fi (or a hotspot created by the host), go to the «Join game» section of Multiplayer and choose the corresponding game to join. After joining the game, they will be sent to the Living Room. Once they reach the Living Room door, joining the game is completed. Guests can only enter said door after the host does.
    • The door, instead of the swords clashing image indicating battle, will have a moving image of two devices connected, symbolizing that going in means the player will connect to the others’ devices.
  • All participants can roam freely in the Living Room before they enter the game and try to get any weapon or other possible items from the Garden and Workshop or forge weapons in the Forge Table like in a single player game. The chest next to the door will spawn all of the rings instead of a weapon. The only things they can’t do is interact with the Task Board, Badass Travel, Season Travel, the Valkyrie, the Drillmaster or the Ancient Portal – they’ll react «Come next time when you play solo.»
    • The Officer has the exclamation mark that usually indicates the player has completed a challenge or wanted task, but he does nothing in multiplayer.
  • When the player is ready, enter the door and the player will arrive in the waiting room. Players in this room can practice freely on a Training Dummy until the host starts the game. All players will restore energy constantly while in the room, similar to the effect of the «Infinite energy» condition. Rings cannot be used in this room.
    • There are four large screens on the wall of the room. If any player is in the Living Room but not ready yet, it’ll show their skin on a monitor, and if they’re ready, the corresponding screen will show the player with «READY» beneath the image. The player will also appear in the waiting room. Otherwise, the monitor only shows noise.
  • When at least two players are ready, the host can start the game by pressing a button with the play icon on it.
  • If a run has been interrupted and the players want to resume the game, they need to use the «Last game» button at the title screen. The host can continue the game if at least one player has returned.

Playing Multiplayer

In Multiplayer mode, many factors of gameplay change, such as:

  • Chests can be larger than normal. These chests require some players to stand on separate buttons at the same time to open. These chests will give more than one weapon, depending on the number of buttons.
    • For example, in a game with 3 players, chests may have 2 or 3 buttons while giving 2 or 3 weapons accordingly.
  • Shops may contain more items (big shops can contain up to 6).
  • Champion rooms come with more reward chests (one for each player).
  • Gold, energy orbs and materials are separated for each player. Only those for the players’ character are visible.
  • All players can contribute coins to Wishing Wells (the cap remains at 50), and any payout that is not a weapon or potion can be collected by all players. However, only one player can take an item from the selection provided in Turret Rooms.
    • If a blueprint that appears is one that a player has already collected, it will become either another blueprint or a random item for that player.
  • Developed weapons and armor mounts can appear randomly even if none of the players have developed them.
    • This also works for regular Mounts, which can appear even if the player doesn’t have the right achievement.
  • Buffs that are chosen will apply to every player. Only the host is able to choose the Buffs.
    • Buffs on fully-upgraded characters will also apply to all other players, even if they may be different for each character used. Buffs that anyone comes with will not show up in the choices.
      • For example, if a game starts with a fully-upgraded Knight and a fully-upgraded Wizard, the Knight will also benefit from the Wizard’s Elemental Buff, and the Wizard will also benefit from the Knight’s Strong Shield Buff.
    • Character-exclusive Buffs are not shared.
  • Characters found at the start of each level can still only be interacted with by players that have unlocked them, even if one player has unlocked them but another has not.
  • Only the host can obtain drinks from the Beverage Vending Machine, and the drink given will only apply to them despite being visible in the pause screen for all players. The only exception is Tea, as all players share Buffs. Drinks purchased from the Waiter during the game will be given to all players regardless of who purchased the drink.
  • Each Statue can be worshipped once by every player. Statue effects are independent for each player.
  • Each player has a panel on the left of the screen showing health and energy bars for other players. Armor is not displayed. The host will also have an option to kick players from the game here, but only while in the waiting room.
  • Players can revive each other if someone dies. The person who had died cannot do anything until another player revives them.
    • In order to revive another player, move to that player and interact with them. The player must then remain next to the downed player until their life bar has been fully refilled (the progress of revival is shown in green) and the player is revived. It takes 5 seconds to revive a player. The player can use skills and move in a very small area around the other player while reviving, but they cannot attack with weapons. The revival attempt will be canceled if they move away during the process.
      • The other players will be automatically revived once someone enters the portal to the next level.
    • A revived player will be restored with 1 health, full armor, full energy, and be granted a 2-second invincibility shield. There is no limit on how many times a player can be revived.
    • The game is over when all players are down.
      • However, if the «You can revive twice» condition is active, the first time all players fall down, they will have the option to revive everyone.
  • If a player enters a new room with enemies (thus making them aggressive), all other players will be forced to warp to that player to deal with the enemies together.
    • Enemy rooms are given a «start» animation of 1 second to let players get ready, during which enemies cannot take damage.
    • This also happens in Turret Rooms, where all players will warp to where the chosen item used to be.
  • All enemies have increased health. Every extra player will cause a 50% increase in enemy health, up to 250% of the basic value in a 4-play game.
  • Enemies will spawn more frequently. The more players in-game, the more enemies spawn.
  • The portal to the next floor can be interacted with by any player. Once a player has done so, a 15-second timer will appear on-screen and the other players are presented with the options «Wait for me» and «Next level». The player who interacted with the portal can choose to cancel the action, which will stop the timer. If all players select «Next level», everyone will be taken to the next floor automatically.
    • The number of players who have selected «Next level» is shown at the bottom of the screen as x/# of total players. Even if no players choose to advance, everyone will be forcibly taken to the next floor once the timer reaches 0.
      • Selecting the option «Wait for me» will cause the player to send a stopwatch emoji, with no other effect.

Weekly Challenges

Since Update 4.0.0, the host can enable this option to add a special condition on top of all other factors. Completing a level mode game under this condition yields additional rewards. The condition is refreshed every Monday 0:00.

  • Boss Rush and local Co-op cannot apply weekly challenges.
  • The first success each week gives rewards shown in the present boxes below, while challenge in badass mode gives another reward. From the second time of each difficulty in the same week, players can only earn gems.

  • Prior to Update 1.6.0, if the player disconnected, the player would be unable to continue their game in Multiplayer.
  • In the past, a dead player could switch weapons before being revived. This could cause an exploit if that player was carrying a Shield or other weapons that work upon switching.
  • Before Update 2.3.0, the «You can resurrect twice» condition was useless in this mode.

  • If a player enters a new room with enemies (thus making them aggressive), all other players will be forced to warp to that player to deal with the enemies together.
    • Enemy rooms are given a «start» animation of 1 second to let players get ready, during which enemies cannot take damage.
    • This also happens in Turret Rooms, where all players will warp to where the chosen item used to be.
  • All enemies have increased health. Every extra player will cause a 50% increase in enemy health, up to 250% of the basic value in a 4-play game.
  • Enemies will spawn more frequently. The more players in-game, the more enemies spawn.
  • The portal to the next floor can be interacted with by any player. Once a player has done so, a 15-second timer will appear on-screen and the other players are presented with the options «Wait for me» and «Next level». The player who interacted with the portal can choose to cancel the action, which will stop the timer. If all players select «Next level», everyone will be taken to the next floor automatically.
    • The number of players who have selected «Next level» is shown at the bottom of the screen as x/# of total players. Even if no players choose to advance, everyone will be forcibly taken to the next floor once the timer reaches 0.
      • Selecting the option «Wait for me» will cause the player to send a stopwatch emoji, with no other effect.

Weekly Challenges

Since Update 4.0.0, the host can enable this option to add a special condition on top of all other factors. Completing a level mode game under this condition yields additional rewards. The condition is refreshed every Monday 0:00.

  • Boss Rush and local Co-op cannot apply weekly challenges.
  • The first success each week gives rewards shown in the present boxes below, while challenge in badass mode gives another reward. From the second time of each difficulty in the same week, players can only earn gems.

The whole team (all members combined) can only revive up to 2 times. Revives caused by weapons (like Nirvana Cross) and other conditions do not count.

Size Unstable.png

Characters may suddenly become larger or smaller over time. Movement speed is adjusted as well, but not health and armor.

  • This overrides «Gigantism» and «Dwarfism» such that they have no effect.
  • Whether a character becomes larger or smaller is independent from another.

Limited Time.png

Complete the game within 12 minutes (normal mode) or 16 minutes (badass mode).

  • Unlike Rush to Purity, there is no timer for reference.

Explode Upon Death.png

Enemies and players will explode 3 seconds after death. Players make larger explosion. These explosions hurt players.

  • Explosion damage can be reduced by Fire Buff.
  • Monkeys in Relics will only flee after explosion.

Rift Of Time Space.png

Enemies have high chance to leave a dimensional rift on death. Players stepping into a rift will take damage like falling into a pit in Grave. Each rift lasts for 12 seconds.

Gigantic Champion.png

Each room contains one extra large champion enemy.

  • This enemy has more health, but not damage.

Volcanic Rocks.png

Meteors fall from time to time. These meteors do not damage enemies.

  • Meteors have lower accuracy while not in combat.
  • Each meteor deals 1 damage (2 in badass) and does not have knockback.

Bombard.png

Sometimes enemy blimp will bomb the room. Enemies take 8 damage while players take 4 (5 in badass).

  • Player damage can be reduced by Fire Buff.

Trivia

  • Before Update 1.6.0, only up to 2 players could join the same game.
  • Prior to Update 1.6.0, if the player disconnected, the player would be unable to continue their game in Multiplayer.
  • In the past, a dead player could switch weapons before being revived. This could cause an exploit if that player was carrying a Shield or other weapons that work upon switching.
  • Before Update 2.3.0, the «You can resurrect twice» condition was useless in this mode.
  • The interface of starting a multiplayer game was simpler without the use of the Living Room before update 2.5.0.
    • As of Update 2.0.5, at this screen, if the player is the host, their local IPv4 address (always 192.168.x.x) will be displayed at the bottom-left corner if they are connected to a Wi-Fi (either router or mobile hotspot), or your own IPv4 (eg. 10.43.235.77) if they’re on mobile data. If the player is the participant, they will see the host’s IPv6.
  • Its online feature was added in Update 3.0.0 and Update 3.3.5 for iOS and Android, respectively.
