I am trying to install security updates for MS Office 2007 and get Update Error Code 0x8007066F when I try to install the following updates:

Update for the 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB981715)
Security Update for the 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB982312)
Security Update for the 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB2345043)
Security Update for the 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB2344875)

I am running Windows XP Pro, and IE8 on the computer. My computer is set for automatic updates. Looking back at some previous posts and recommended solutions, I removed the Compatibiliyt Pack for 2007 Office System from my computer, rebooted, and tried
to install the updates. The same four updates failed to install. I also tried removing the Compatabilty Pack, rebooting, re-installing the Compatibility Pack, and then tried installing the Security Updates, which also failed. I also tried to install
each update separately, and was unsuccessful. I also ran the diagnostics on the Office install and no errors were found.

Any suggestions?

Problem resolved by removing Compatibility pack for 2007 office by Windows installer utility & re-installed it, And installed the patches successfully.
