You have enabled broken old repository.
To remove it use commands below:
sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:teejee2008/ppa
Then to install wine you really do not need third-party repositories, so you have to disable all such previously added WineHQ repositories by:
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb http://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ bionic main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb http://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ focal main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb http://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ groovy main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb http://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ hirsute main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ bionic main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ focal main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ groovy main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ hirsute main"
and then update package lists, install updates, resume interrupted installations by
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get install -f
And finally install Wine from official repositories by
sudo apt-get install wine
or better install PlayOnLinux (sudo apt-get install playonlinux
) to install Windows applications using wizards.
Note: if you have problems with official default repositories, then re-add them by
sudo apt-add-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs) main restricted universe multiverse"
sudo apt-add-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs)-updates main restricted universe multiverse"
sudo apt-add-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs)-security main restricted universe multiverse"
sudo apt-add-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs)-backports main restricted universe multiverse"
and retry above commands.

Unable to install Wine.
E: dpkg was interrupted upi must manually run dpkg -- configure a" to correct the problem.
yd@yd:~$ dpkg --add-architecture i386
dpkg: error: unable to create new file '/var/lib/dpkg/arch-new': Permission denied

sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:teejee2008/ppa
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb http://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ bionic main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb http://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ focal main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb http://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ groovy main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb http://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ hirsute main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ bionic main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ focal main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ groovy main"
sudo apt-add-repository -r "deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ hirsute main"
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get install wine
PlayOnLinux (sudo apt-get install playonlinux
sudo apt-add-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs) main restricted universe multiverse"
sudo apt-add-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs)-updates main restricted universe multiverse"
sudo apt-add-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs)-security main restricted universe multiverse"
sudo apt-add-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs)-backports main restricted universe multiverse"

sudo dpkg --configure -a
затем:
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
wget -nc https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/winehq.key
sudo apt-key add winehq.key
sudo add-apt-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ focal main'
sudo apt update
sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable

Wine.
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
sudo apt update
wget -qO- https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/winehq.key | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt install software-properties-commonsudo apt-add-repository "deb http://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ $(lsb_release -cs) main"
sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable

There are two things that go wrong:
— You have added the WineHQ repository for Ubuntu Focal, Impish and Jammy
Remove the first two.
— You are trying to install winehq-stable.
When Wine 7.0 was released, Ubuntu Jammy didn’t exist. Therefore, there are currently only WineHQ packages for winehq-devel and winehq-staging for Jammy.

So what is the moral of the story here? If I don’t need WINE right now, should I wait until a stable version for 22.04 comes out (I’m never going to remember that I’m using the dev or staging channel). Any guess as to when a stable version for 22.04 is due out?

The naming of the different Wine varieties is (a little) misleading.
In a nutshell, it comes down to this: every two weeks, a new winehq-devel version is released. At the beginning of the year that development version becomes «stable». If you use a development release you can achieve the same degree of stability by simply not upgrading. So you can ask yourself how «stable» the winehq-stable version is.
If you want to use Wine, you can safely install winehq-devel or winehq-staging.

Note that this is only one of the four WineHQ packages (but often the one that causes the most problems).
You can install the others with:
Code: Select all
sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-devel wine-devel wine-devel-amd64

That’s (almost) all of Wine’s 32-bit dependencies. Did you enable the 32 bit architecture?
If that has already been done, please mention which Ubuntu/ Debian version you have and which repositories you have enabled.
