In my case I had the Laptop with NVIDIA and Intel graphics. I followed the instructions on the Parsec Article https://support.parsecgaming.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003937292 , but it still wasn’t working and I still continued to receive the error.
However, I realized Parsec was still showing up under my NVIDIA GPU even after the above guidance was followed. I decided to take an extra step and also set «pservice.exe» to Intel graphics as well, rebooted Parsec and then the problem was resolved.
Hopefully, this will help someone else!
No change.
In the Parsec Discord I had a chat with Callum. He blames Windows and sais it can’t be fixed. That he would have if he could. I don’t know. It’s lame. It worked for weeks. EDIT: I check the Windows Update logs — no changes since 13 april except for the exact day I talked to Callum, but that was days after the problem surfaced.

The initial boot works fine, but subsequent startups result in this error, even though RealVNC and Microsoft’s RDP connects fine.
