Doomshfaft

«Hello everyone,
we are aware that some players are having connectivity issues on all platforms. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience whilst we investigate.

[UPDATE 19:30 UTC] We are still investigating this issue.

«Hello Ghosts,

we need to operate a maintenance on our Open Beta servers for all platforms (PS4, Xbox One & PC) starting at 8:20PM UTC.
Estimated downtime:
— PC & Xbox One: 1h
— PS4: 15min
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
We will keep you updated on the progress of this situation»

Haysen

Solo and co-op play hindered by errors and maintenance issues.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands players are coming up against a number of problems during the open beta, but if it’s any consolation, it’s not your fault.

A common ribera-1000b error has popped up for a lot of players, which makes the game unplayable for even solo play using AI co-op. It looks like that can be fixed by port forwarding if you don’t mind tinkering with your set-up. There’s a quick video guide here.

And at the time of writing Ubisoft has taken the game offline twice in less than 24 hours since going live, on all formats; PC, Xbox One and PS4.

It’s to be expected of course. This open beta is not just a demo to help sell the game, but a way for Ubisoft to stress test its back end as well as tweak the game before the proper release on March 7.

But it’s no less frustrating to get kicked from a game, especially one designed specifically for four buddies to experience in co-op.

The Ghost Recon Wildlands maintenance has now been completed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Although it’s not the same backend design as Ubisoft’s recently released For Honor, that game is currently suffering game-breaking problems online, crippling a game that has been well received by critics.

Our advice if you do come across the ribera-1000b error or any other maintenance issues is to keep an eye on the official Twitter support for updates. Maintenance so far on the game has been relatively quick, taking between 15 minutes and an hour. You can also check on the server status right here.

Expect more downtime over the Ghost Recon: Wildlands open beta weekend. It’s the nature of the beast. Let’s just hope the same problems don’t follow for the full game at release. Plus, you know, the game is pretty cool from what we’ve played of it.

The Ghost Recon Wildlands beta is now open to all, but some players are experiencing issues when trying to connect to the game’s servers. The error in question is “Ribera-1000B,” which seems to block people out of the open beta. The good news is that the resolution is relatively straightforward.

To resolve this issue, fans will need to open up some ports on their router, and if applicable, allow the program access through any firewalls. We have a compiled list of ports that need to be opened if you are running into connectivity issues (Thanks to Reddit for some help):

TCP Ports: 80, 443, 13000, 13005, 13200, 14000, 14001, 14008, 14020, 14021, 14022, 14023, and 14024.
UDP Ports: 3074, 3075

If you are not technically savvy, there is a handy guide at PortForward.com for most types of routers and configurations. This will guide you through the process step by step on forwarding TCP/UDP ports.

Ubisoft is working hard to resolve these issues, but the purpose of the beta is to expose and address any issues that appear before the game’s official launch.

Ghost Recon Wildlands officially launches on March 7th, 2017.

Gamers provide instructions for overcoming the ribera-1000b error that is keeping many gamers from accessing and enjoying the Ghost Recon: Wildlands open beta.

The Ghost Recon: Wildlands beta is in full swing, and unfortunately for many gamers, there seems to be numerous connection issues associated with the Ghost Recon: Wildlands beta, most notably the ribera-1000b error. Fortunately, theres a simple solution that involves port forwarding via a gamers router.

Gamers have shared recommended fixes on Reddit and YouTube, showing gamers how to port forward their routers and help make the adjustment simple, even for those who may not be technically inclined.

On its end, Ubisoft has already taken the Ghost Recon: Wildlands beta servers offline twice in an effort to fix the issue. That said, this is a beta, and one of the most important aspects of a beta is to test the online connection. While the process is certainly frustrating, the goal is to eliminate issues during the beta so they dont crop up once the final game is released.

The release of For Honor a little over a week ago is a good example of how things can go wrong at launch. After two successful beta tests, many players have still run into connectivity issues with the Ubisoft fighting game. This has been a tough hurdle for a game that was so well received at launch.

Naturally, Ubisoft wants to avoid a similar situation with Ghost Recon: Wildlands, so its likely the developer is pushing the system to see how much it can withstand. With that in mind, gamers can likely expect additional downtime throughout the weekend, though fortunately each maintenance period has been relatively short, lasting only 15 minutes to an hour.

For those times the servers do go down, gamers can check out the live action film for Ghost Recon: Wildlands over on Amazon. The film is only about 30 minutes and is a great way to get to know the Santa Blanca cartel.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is due out March 7, 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
