[Question] Cydia stuck on «Running Debian Packager» after DPKG LOCKED error
Ipad fifth generation ios 13.4.1.
I jailbroke the device with unc0ver just five minutes ago with some minor issues with the cydia app not showing but solved itself when i re-jailbroke. Was prompted to install basic packages in cydia, I accepted and it showed DPKG LOCKED. I re-jailbroke and tried again. Cydia started installing fine but is now stuck on Running Debian Packager (on the Darwin Tools package). It successfully installed «Kiimo Repo icons» though.
What to do? Can i exit cydia and close it and try again?

Cyfix can fix all your Cydia crashing errors. You just need to search Cyfix in any default sources and install it without GUI. Run it.
The developers have to modify entire Cydia source code to make it work on new firmware. The development needs long process and editing many files. It might possible that in some cases, Cydia might not work properly.
Recently, PanGu has announced that Cydia is not working with iOS 11.1.2 jailbreak tool. Saurik, a developer of Cydia, needs to modify it to make it work on iOS 11.1.2 and newer firmware.
However, most of the errors are common and can be fixed simply. But, its depend on the error. Since iOS 11.1.2 jailbreak release, we are getting couple of Cydia errors that we wanna discuss here.
Cydia can handle only 65535 packages. BigBoss, ModMyi, ZodTDD etc. are the default sources. They contain more than 40,000 packages. So, now you have only 25535 packages left to add. Suppose, you have added more than total 65535 packages, you will get “Wow, you exceeded the number of package names this APT is capable of” error. In this case, you have to remove default sources or any other sources that you have added before and now you are not using them at all.
Cydia Not Working – Other Possible Errors:-
1 Cydia not working: If you have recently jailbroken your iOS device and installed Cydia. It might possible that it is not installed properly, in this case, it won’t work. Try to Uninstall it and Reinstall Cydia from official deb file.
2 Cydia not opening: Cydia works on servers. It might possible that its not opening due to heavy traffic load. Try to open it again after some time. I would recommend that reboot your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and try to open it.
3 Cydia Crashing: The most common reason for crashing is, one or more package files have been corrupted. I would suggest to Update Cydia installation to prevent this error.

Installation Instructions:
STEP 1: Download the .deb Cydia hack file from the link above. Use Safari/Google Chrome or other iOS browsers to download.
STEP 2: Once the file has downloaded, tap on it and then you will be prompted on whether you want to open the deb with iGameGod or copy it to Filza.
STEP 3: If necessary, tap on the downloaded file, and then, you will need to press ‘Install’ from the options on your screen.
STEP 4: Let iGameGod/Filza finish the cheat installation. Make sure it successfully installs, otherwise see the note below.
STEP 5: If the hack is a Mod Menu — which is usually the case nowadays — the cheat features can be toggled in-game. Some cheats have options that can be enabled from your iDevice settings.

I have seen many users are reporting about issues they are facing after Jailbreak iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.4, we have posted a guide about the main issues that most of users have reported you can check fix App Store updates and Settings app crash after Jailbreaking iOS 8.3 using TaiG. But now i’ve seen reports about another issue ” sub-process / usr / bin / dpkg returned an error code (2) ” that accour when ever you try to install any tweak form Cydia. I’ve prepared a step by step guide to fix Cydia iOS sub-process / usr / bin / dpkg returned an error code (2).
Step #1: First you have to find the directory structure of your iPhone. (through SSH or iFile ).
Step #2: Now look for the /var/lib/dpkg/ directory.
Step #3: Once you’ll be in the directory you’ll find files: available, availble-old, status, status-old.
Step #4: First “available” to “available-bak”.
Step #5: Second “status” to “status-bak”.
Step #6: Third “available-old” to “available”.
Step #7: Forth “status-old” to “status”.
Step #8: Launch Cydia and make sure that you allow Cydia to load completely first, now try to install the tweaks.
I am sure now you can easily install tweaks from Cydia without facing error like sub-process / usr / bin / dpkg returned an error code (2). If you face any kind of the issue regarding this guide tell me in comments.
