Scan ksp ошибка - Не ошибается лишь тот, кто ничего не делает!

Здравствуйте, товарищи.
проблема в следующем: при запуске CKAN, он запускается нормально:

Но как только я ставлю галочку на любом моде в списке, выскакивает эта ошибка:

При нажатии на кнопку «сведения» появляется это:

Я абсолютный нуб и весь этот текст для меня хуже, чем новые ворота для барана
Если нажать на окне ошибки кнопку «продолжить», окно закроется, CKAN продолжит работать, но кнопка «Apply changes» заблокирована.
Ошибка выскакивает всякий раз при установке очередной галочки в списке модов.
Это происходит с любой версией KSP и любой версией CKAN. Винда 7 ultimate, переустановка не помогает (ни винды, ни CKAN, ни KSP).
Комп: Атлон 2 x3 440 3 ГГц, 4 Гб ОЗУ DDR3, видеокарта радеон HD 5400, KSP установлен на SSD 120 Гб, грузится очень быстро, версия 1.04 работает прекрасно, 1.05 глючит по черному.
Если кто-нить из вас знает, в чем тут проблема и как это лечится, подскажите, пожалуйста, а то ручная установка всех модов — жуткий геморрой

Problem

Whenever I try to click on the «Installed» check box on a mod in the list, CKAN freezes & goes into «Not Responding». I have to force close the program. I’ve tried closing then opening multiple time, & I deleted the .exe & re-downloaded it, which I didn’t think would help because I see that CKAN creates files elsewhere, but I gave it a try & it still does the same thing.

I’ve had CKAN for about a week, & I decided to buy the DLCs today (3/5/23). After buying & installing the DLCs, I noticed one of my mods had disappeared ([x] Science! Continued). After playing a few hours I went to re-install the missing mod, & that’s when I noticed the issue. It’s not just that mod. I’ve tried clicking other mods & its the same story.

Steps to reproduce

Open CKAN
Click on a mod’s Installed check box
Watch program freeze forever, or a very long time at least. I’ve not seen it unfreeze while writing this (about 30min)

Note:
I don’t know why I didn’t do this before submitting, but I deleted the CKAN folder from the Kerbal Space Program folder, then ran the CKAN exe. It fixed the issue, but now all my mods are gone, so it would still be nice to see the issue fixed, which I believe must have been caused by me installing the DLCs after having CKAN do it’s thing.

I have the latest release from github (Dragon)
Also i have the latest release from steam. (1.7)

when i open ckan (fresh install of ksp and ckan) this happens:

To prepare for the 1.10 update a copied my 1.8 install to a new file location so I could have two installs, however CKAN had errors with the new install. So I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it and a box popped up with this and then disappeared:

Murphys law proves true again!!: all I had to do was run it as an administrator. Figured it out 5 seconds after I asked for help.
